Chapter 23

We reached Jin's house in silence. Jungkook simply rung the doorbell twice and Jin appeared as if he were summoned.
"Jungkook? Seohyun? What are you guys doing here?"
"Well, I was bringing Seohyun home after a little episode on her way back to Bora's house."
"Really what happened?" Jin looked into my eyes, his own filled with concern and worry. I didn't reply and stared down at my feet
"Seohyun will tell you later, first let her in."
"Sure, come in." Jin opened the door wider and I stepped into my home. Jungkook handed me my bags but never came in.
"Aren't you coming in?" I asked him.
"No, I need to check on V and Bora."
Please I mouthed. He shook his head no.
"What happened to Bora?" Jin asked. Jungkook walked away and I let the front door close behind him, he turned around one last time and waved me inside before disappearing from sight.
"Um...well. We were walking home and JungWoo appeared out of nowhere, knocking Bora unconscious and tried to attack me." I fiddled with my sleeves.
"That bastard. I swear I'm really gonna get him. Are you hurt anywhere?" Jin reached out to touch me but I stepped back, out of his reach.
"I'm fine. I think I'm going to head up to my room. Goodnight." I picked up my bags from the floor and ran up the stairs, closing the door shut behind me with a click.

I didn't sleep well that night. I tried to. But I kept tossing and turning, thinking about the night's events, worrying if Bora was okay and thinking about the fact that Jin was right next door. I decided to text V.

Me: V? Are you still with Bora? Is she okay?
Vdork: Yes, she's fine. Thank god. They're only keeping her here for tonight and releasing her tomorrow.
Me: Oh, thank god!
Vdork: Stop worrying and get some sleep. I'll take good care of her. Get some sleep.
Me: Okay, I will. You get some sleep too. Goodnight.
Vdork: Sleep well.

I put my phone to the side and eventually sleep washed over me and I fell asleep.

I woke up in the early hours of the morning and grabbed all my things as silently as I could. I slipped downstairs and Jin wasn't awake yet. I left him a note and quietly slipped out of the front door. I made my way to the hospital and into Bora's room where she was collecting her things with V.
"Bora!" I ran to her and engulfed her in a hug.
"Seohyun! Are you okay?"
"Yes I'm fine! I was so worried about you!"
"It's okay, I'm fine. I told my parents what happened but not that it was JungWoo."
"I'm sorry you have to get sucked into this mess."
"Don't talk nonsense! Your mess is my mess."
V cleared his throat.
"Shall we get going?"
I went to V and wrapped my arms around him. He was shocked and tensed for a second before relaxing.
"Thank you for staying with her."
"It was nothing. I'm glad you're okay."
I released him and we called for a taxi to make it to Bora's house.
Bora's mum fussed about us, making sure we were okay and sent us to bed for the day, before bringing us plates of food and told us to get a day's rest. We stayed in bed for the whole day watching movies and slept until school the next day.

I woke up late again, as per usual.
We managed to make it up the steps of the school before bursting into the room. My eyes were only on one person. JungWoo. He waved to me and gave me an evil smirk. My blood boiled and anger was rolling off me in waves I clenched my teeth and stayed silent, for the sake of Bora and the rest of the class. I stayed silent for the rest of the morning until the bell went for lunch and the classroom became deserted. Bora rushed out first to grab us some seats and lunch. I finished the last paragraph I was writing and made my way out of the classroom until my eyes landed on a phone on the floor.
Hmm, whose is this?
I pressed the home button and the phone unlocked. The first thing that appeared on the screen was a picture. It was of JungWoo.
The idiot left his phone here huh?
I swiped through some of the pictures until I saw a picture that had my eyes bulging. It was a picture of me and Jin on the beach. So it was him? He was the person that told the media about us? I kept swiping and found some pictures of me and Jin at home. One of us cuddling together and one of his arms wrapped around my waist.
He's been stalking me!!! He even made it to my house!
 
Oh, he's asking for it now.
