When I was 13 years old, on the 12th July 2014, I had my first seizure.
Please Note: I had to get my mum to help me write this chapter as I don't remember what happened
This is how my mum told me it happened
I got home from school, and did my homework and had dinner. Apparently, I didn't look well and I kept on saying that I felt dizzy and had a headache but no one thought nothing of it because I got headaches and felt dizzy quite often.
I went upstairs to watch TV in my room, then my mum said that she heard this thud on the floor.
THIS PART IS QUITE GRAPHIC SO SKIP IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ THIS PART
My mum told me she'd found me on the floor convulsing (shaking), I was unconscious, and she said I had foam coming out of my mouth. I had also bitten through my tongue, so there was blood all over the floor.
Graphic description over
My mum called for an ambulance (obviously) and she said that there were two ambulance motorbikes, one ambulance car and one ambulance van.
I vaguely remember waking up and seeing a paramedic standing up next to me, but it's only a second in my memory.
The paramedics told my mum that I have had a seizure, and I won't remember anything from that day and I won't feel completely better until a few days later.
The only way to describe my memory of this day, is like a video and someone's edited most of it out but left literally two seconds of the memory in my brain
