WALKING DOWN to the docks alone was a daily thing for Rikki Whittmore. The fifteen year-old has only been in town, a town in which she didn't know the name of cause she couldn't be bothered in remembering it, for a few days and the docks are the only place that's not crawling with teens from school. Rikki was never one to be outgoing with people her age. Growing up was hard enough coming from an upper class family, making friends wasn't easy. Rikki had a hard time understanding other peoples feelings along with being somewhat of a snarky bitch.

Back when Rikki was twelve she left her home of Beacon Hills, California after some health issues she experienced when she was younger. It was when she was twelve did she have another episode. Her parents couldn't seem to help her so they sent Rikki to live with her Aunt and Uncle in Australia in hope it would help her. Rikki hated that she had to leave her little brother Jackson behind.

Since then it had been three years and Rikki was still dealing with her problems every day. Within that three year time span she had been to four different schools in four different towns. Rikki's Aunt and Uncle hoped that this is the last time they would have to move Rikki.

Rikki couldn't help herself when she came across Zane Bennett's zodiac boat that sat next to the dock. When she got there she established that Zane was a stuck up rich boy who always gotten what he wanted, and all she wanted to do was screw with him. So she took the spark plug from his motor and walked off.

Later Rikki came by to see if Zane had noticed yet only to come across him have a conversation with a girl she saw around school.

"Cleo, hey Cleo," Zane said trying to get the attention of a brunette girl, "yes that Cleo. I'm having some trouble here. Can you help Cleo?"

"I don't think so," Cleo said unsure as to why Zane would ask her for help. This cause Rikki to roll her eyes in annoyance knowing how this is going to go, wondering if this girl is really going to fall for it.

"Come on, please? The zodiac won't go and all I need you to do is pass me the tools."

     "I'm not good with boats."

"You'll be fine. It took me a while to realize that someone took my spark plug."

Cleo had walked over and gotten on the boat. She started looking around for some extra spark plugs that Zane might have not seen. With her back to him Zane started to untie the boat from the dock.

"So does it work without one?" Cleo asked while she turned around to face Zane as he pushed the boat away from the dock letting it float away.
