The Next Day...
"Hmm... What should we play today?" Pondered Jim as the three children walked through the woods together.
"I know! I know!" Shouted Luka bouncing up and down with excitement.
"Alright, what is it, Luka?" (Y/N) asked with a laugh.
Luka pointed to Jim and said, "You're the king!"
Jim grinned. "Alright!"
"But kings got to have a queen!" Said Luka with a huge smile, looking over at (Y/N).
"What?" Questioned (Y/N) with a bit of uneasiness in her voice. "No, I can't."
"Well..." Started Jim. "A king does need a queen, and I can't very well have Luka being queen."
"Yeah!" Agreed Luka with a giggle.
(Y/N) thought for a moment.
"What do you say, (Y/N)?" Asked Jim with a kind smile and a cheeky wink. "Will you be my queen?"
(Y/N) smiled then blushed slightly with embarrassment. "Oh... Alright."
"Yay!" Luka cheered.
"But, that doesn't mean I sit in a tower all day, okay?" (Y/N) insisted with a small frown.
"Of course not!" Agreed Jim. "That's for the princesses."
"So I can still swordfight with you both, right?" Asked (Y/N).
"Definitely." Jim nodded with a grin.
"In that case..." Began (Y/N) with a mischievous grin on her face. She ran off a few feet and picked up a strong looking stick. "On guard!" She yelled as she ran back to Jim.
Jim smiled and picked up a stick as well, and soon Luka joined in too.
After sword fighting for hours until sunset, Luka plopped down to the ground and sighed.
"Did you have fun, Luka?" (Y/N) asked as she mimicked his movement and sat on the ground next to him.
"Yeah!" He beamed happily. "But there's still one thing we forgot to do..."
"Hmm? And what's that?" Asked Jim approaching the two.
"The king and queen have to share a dance!" Yelled Luka, jumping back up energetically.
(Y/N) nervously looked over to Jim. He kindly outstretched his hand for her to take. Luka grinned up at the two as (Y/N) shyly took Jim's hand.
Jim and (Y/N) started twirling around wildly while grasping onto each others hands. Luka climbed up into a nearby cherry blossom tree and started shaking the branches, causing little pink flowers to float down below.
Everything seemed almost perfect for once. They were happy, alive, and together. The sun slowly sunk below the forest and the stars began appearing, but the three barely noticed as they danced around through the trees with joy in their voices.
It was a magical night for all three as they danced around together... But little did they know, that everything was about to change.
