The next morning I woke up to a banging sound. It sounded like someone shutting car doors. I turned over in the bed to look at Austin, but he wasn't there. I ran downstairs and to the window to look outside for him. I couldn't find him.

I was left at Austin's alone, so I had to find something to do or entertain myself. I just looked around trying to think about what I could do, but before I did anything I had to text him and see where he was.

He told me he had to run out and do some stuff. He said he would be back later. I decided to mess around with all of his musical stuff. I went through all of his different kinds of shoes, clothes and other stuff.

I have always loved to sing, so after a long time of doing that, I went to his bedroom and sat down at the keyboard. I started playing and singing the song Invisible by Hunter Hayes. I love that song and I always sing it! I didn't notice I had an audience and just kept going until the song was over.

"Wow," I heard a voice behind me say. I jumped.

"That's really good," Austin said looking at me.

"Thanks, I guess. Just messing around," I replied.

"Well, if that was just messing around, then I want to know what you sound like when you are actually trying!" He exclaimed.

I played the song again, but this time like I was performing it for a huge audience.

"That is so amazing! It's beautiful!" he said. "I recorded that, so I am sending it to the recording studio."

I guess part of me wanted that, but I didn't want to leave the normal life.

"Austin, please don't," I said.

"Why? You're amazing!" he exclaimed.

"I just don't know if I want the famous life," I explained.

"You can make such a difference in the world when you are known by so many different people in different places!" he tried to explain.

"Look, just please don't send it," I said. "Okay," he said.

That day we just hung around the house just messing around with music. We did some duets and stuff like that just for fun. Austin had to record some stuff for the studio and I just sat and listened. After he was dobe we went to bed.

The next morning I woke up to a beautiful sunny day. I felt well rested and everything was going to be perfect! Or so I thought...

I got up and got dressed. I felt like dressing like a famous person today, just to impress myself. I walked outside and realized I forgot my phone so I ran back to Austin's room to get it off the charger. I ran back downstairs and sat on the porch. My phone rang. It was a weird number I'd never seen before. I answered it and it was Austin's record company he works with.

"Hello?" I said.

"Is this Lindsay?" they asked.

"Yes," I replied.

"Hey we heard your recording of that Hunter Hayes song! We'd love to have you working with us," they said.

My mouth dropped open and tears flooded my eyes. I was speechless. He promised he wouldn't send it and he did it any way!

"So, Lindsay, what do ya say?" they asked.

"Umm... uh...." I stuttered.

I just hung up. There was no way I was going to committ to something so life changing. I was so mad at Austin and hurt that he broke his promise.

Tears were still streaming down my face making the extra makeup I wore run down my cheeks. I heard the door shut behind me and I dabbed my face to wipe the streaks off.

"Hey babe!" Austin exclaimed. "Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah, fine," I said. I was super short and straight to the point with him.

"Woah, are you okay? You look like you've been crying," he said concerned.

"Yeah Austin, I'm fine!" I yelled.

"Okay, I think you need some alone time, but if you change your mind I'm here to talk," he said with a surprised face. I think I caught him off guard.

He got up to leave and I just lost it. I thought he was already back inside, so I just started sobbing. My phone was ringing again and it was the studio. I just threw it to the other side of the porch.

"Okay, I'm not leaving until you tell me why you are so upset," he said.

"Well, I think you know exactly what you did and if you don't then go check that missed call on my phone. I am sure they left a message." I said.

He walked over and put the phone on speaker.

"Hey Lindsay, I believe we were disconnected. Like I said we love your voice and that Hunter Hayes song is amazing! We would love to have you on our team! Let us know what you think! Buh-bye."

Austin just looked confused.

"I swear I didn't send it in," he said.

"That's weird because you're the only one that had the recording," I said sarcastically.

"Oh no! I accidently sent the wrong one! Lindsay, I am so so so so sorry!" he exclaimed.

"Whatever Austin, I knew last night that this wouldn't be safe with you. I could see the look on your face. The face of how excited you were and that you were going to share it as soon as you got the chance. You were way too excited about it to not to," I said.

"No, that is not what I-" he started.

"Thanks for breaking your promise Austin, have a nice life," I said getting up and walking off the porch.

"Lindsay, please," he begged.

I ignored him and kept walking. I walked and walked. My phone rang. It was Dave.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey where are you? I was coming to get you and Austin, but he said you left," he said.

"Umm, yeah. I am not exactly having a great day. I am walking to the park," I replied.

"Well, heck I will go get Austin and come get you and we can go have sone fun!" he exclaimed trying to get me to feel better.

"Dave, Austin is the reason I am having a bad day. I don't really want to see him right now," I explained.

"Oh, well can I at least come and talk to you for a while?" he asked.

"As long as you are alone, I don't care," I said.

"Alright, I'm coming," he said.
