Reegan's Audition (Her POV)

I'd just gotten out of my dad's car and I was shaking. This was the most terrifying thing I've ever done on my whole entire life. As I saw the long line up I thought to my self "I'll try and qpractice the song while I wait." After an hour of waiting I was in the building. I was so happy to do this but at the same time terrified. I never had sung in front of this many people before on my life. When I saw the boy who'd just came off he was crying. I asked if he was ok but he said the the judges were really hard to please this year and he got all x's from the judges. Now hearing that I was even more scared. I was saying goodbye to my family and friends that I'd brought along with me and I headed up the stairs. I'd waited for about 20 minutes and I walked on. Sweat dripping down the palms of my hands and I could feel the nerves getting to me. When I saw the judges I almost walked off of the stage. The four judges were...... Simon Cowel, Elton John, Cheryl, and Louis Tomlinson. As I walked in the stage everyone was cheering and the judges had a certain look on their face. I couldn't make out what the expression was but they didn't look to happy. The first judge that spoke up was Louis Tomlinson.
"Hi there."
"Hi."
"What's your name young lady?"
"Reegan Devlin."
"Ok where are you from?"
"I'm from Calgary, Alberta."
"Nice. Ok what song are you going to be singing for us today?"
"I won't give up by Jason Mraz."
"Ok, good luck and you can start when you're ready."
I took a deep breath and gave the signal to start the music.
"When I look into your eyes
It's like watching the night sky
Or a beautiful sunrise
There's so much they hold
And just like them old stars
I see that you've come so far
To be right we're you are
How old is your soul."
The audience erupted in cheers. But I kept singing.
"And when you're needing your space, to do some navigating
I'll be here patiently waiting, to see what you find
Well I won't give on us even if the sky's get rough I'm giving you all my love I'm still looking up."
I finished the song and everyone stood up into cheers and applause. When everything settled down, Louis spoke up.
"I forgot to ask..... how old are you Reegan?"
"I'm 13 years old almost 14."
"Wow that's incredible. I couldn't even sing like that when I was 13."
I smiled as Cheryl spoke up.
"Wow Reegan I was really impressed with your audition."
"Thank you."
"You have this very distinctive voice for someone your age."
"Thank you very much."
It then when in to Elton.
"Wow I'm completely blown away Reegan!"
"Thanks." I said excitedly.
I used to listen to his songs. It then went into Simon. I was terrified of what he would say about my performance.
"I mean Reegan your 13 and you came on the X factor for what reason."
"To face my fears of singing in front of people."
"Well you just accomplished that fear I believe."
"How?"
"By coming here and blowing my mind!"
The crowd started to cheer more.
"Thank you so much!"
"Ok should we vote?"
The judges nodded their heads and it started off with Louis.
"Reegan I was in your spot one time, and you blew my mind with your voice. I'm just gonna say the boys would love to meet you. And for that reason I'm gonna say yes!"
"Thank you."
Cheryl spoke next.
"I'm sorry Reegan, but I don't think your ready for this. After all your just 13. But you could make this generation really awesome. So I'm gonna say yes!!!"
"Thank you!"
Elton spoke next.
"Reegan I can see potential in you of being the next Ke$ha but I agree with Cheryl. I do t think your ready. But with my mentoring you can win the X factor. So I'm saying yes!"
"Thank you!"
Simon spoke and all I could think was that he would say no.
"Reegan your just 13 and your scared to perform alone in front of people is that right?"
"Yes."
"Well I could see you in a girl band similar to Louis band One Direction."
The fans in the audience screamed.
"And I'm extremely sorry but I'm gonna say........ that I'm gonna say YES!"
"Oh my gosh thank you so much!"
I started to break down into tears and Louis came up and hugged me. He raised my hand and joked.
"Ladies and gentlemen here's Nialls new girlfriend!"
The crowd laughed and I did to. He said good luck and I walked off of the stage. As I walked off of the stage I could hear the crowd chanting my name.
