the graduation ceremony came and went, now the after party was in full swing.

there were a few parties going on tonight, but this was the biggest. most of the graduating classes were attending, and even those who hadn't graduated or had so last year showed up.

it was crazy.

legs and arms flailing around the busy venue in a hectic mess. the atmosphere felt hot and heavy, letting off a sense of freedom and fear.

exactly how most, if not all, graduating students feel.

couples danced and kissed, their hearts beating along to the electric music vibrating the floors. strangers kissed and friends hugged.

happiness floated throughout the room, no matter how shitty some people were feeling.

blair and sin arrived an hour after it started. sin had decided to treat his girlfriend to a mcdonald's date before heading to the party; she was grateful.

they were on the dance floor laughing and moving to the beats of the songs. poorly executed singing lifted the room, slowly passing people and causing their lips to move with the lyrics too.

sin stared down at his girlfriend with a grin on his face. he didn't need alcohol tonight, for blair made him crazier than any addictive drug or substance could.

she felt his gaze on her and turned to face him, smiling instantly. she stepped forward and rested her chin on his chest as she wrapped her arms tightly around his waist.

sin bent his head down to her pink tinged ears, breathing staggering. he licked his lips and closed his eyes, focusing only on her.

"i love you."

blair gasped and stood back instantly, her eyes wide. sin's stomach dropped with regret, stepping forward to grab his girlfriend's hand. she didn't resist.

"i'm telling you because i'm ready!" he yelled over the jumping music, pulling her into his chest. "you don't have to say it back." he squeezed her. "I understand if you're not ready."

blair's mind was reeling with what if's and but's. . . however, the ache in her chest as she saw sin's face drop at her reaction caused guilt to swarm in her veins. she knew how she felt towards him, there was no denying it anymore.

she stood on her tiptoes, pulling his head down to her level. her breath was hot on his ear, making him shiver.

"this isn't the most romantic," she paused. "nor planned." sin let out a breathy chuckle that hit her neck, causing the hairs to stand on end. "but i love you too."

she feared for his neck at the rate he pulled back. he stared at her, and a smile broke out onto her face, causing him to shake his head and grin.

"you drive me mad!"

she shrugged. "i guess that's love!"
