- "Okay, come on. Spit it out" you snapped looking straight into his hazel eyes.

- "What?" he snorted, looking anywhere but your eyes. "I have nothing to say to you".

- "Really? Nothing? Because your attitude here is being a lot louder than those words".

- "You are crazy" he made his way to the door not saying another word.

- "And you are a terrible liar". He took a deep breath before turning around to you, you were actually trying to make him snap, he didn't like you and it was all over his face.

- "God, you are so full of yourself" he shook his head in disbelief. "Jo's right, you want people to praise you. I know you have my brother hooked but you aren't fooling me". Your eyes opened wide.

- "Excuse me?" you stood up mad, walking closer to him, you weren't afraid of him and sure as hell you weren't going to allow anyone talk to you like that, no matter who he was.

- "Yeah, you heard me. You had to burst through the door, kicking ass and saving us all, huh? That was just a mere coincidence, right?".

- "Uhm, yes it was" you replied in pure confusion. "I did what I had to do, Sam. What the hell are you talking about? You were there!" you tried to defend yourself.

- "And you just had to have Dean when you knew Jo is completely in love with him. You had to do that too, right? You always need to put her down, make her feel like she's a failure because she sucked at killing the spirit when you know hunting is the only life she knows. That was what you just had to do" he mocked you, putting you completely on your nerves. You lost it with that last sentence

.
- "Listen to me you little shithead, you've been completely brainwashed by miss rebel over there. Hunting may be the only life she knows but that's not the only life she gets to have. I've been convincing her to go to college ever since I can remember. The last thing I want for her is this kind of life" your eyes were slightly watering but you fought the tears off.

- "Do you have any idea how much college costs? Bec..."
.

- "Yeah, I do and she doesn't even need to worry about the money. I raised it for her when she was still in highschool. I'm not some ignorant bitch you think I am, I really care about her" you explained, you noticed his glare was a little bit understanding. "I worked my ass off at the bar so she could have a chance, a life outside this job we are all somehow forced to do".

- "Hunters don't tip that well".

- "And they don't play pool that well either" you snorted. "I'm aware she doesn't consider me as a sister and I'm pretty sure she's never going to but she is one to me. She is my little sister and yeah, I did what I had to do to give her the life she deserves".

Silence filled the room again, Sam was feeling like a complete ass right now. Sure, you understood where he was coming from. He loved Jo and got a chance to know her a little more over the past days, he realized how damaged she was and he thought you were to blame. He was just trying to protect her and it actually made you like him because of it.

- "I'm sorry" he finally let out after taking a deep breath. You stopped him, shaking your head.

- "It's fine, really. I know I can come off like a bitch sometimes but seriously, I never meant to hurt anyone and Dean... that wasn't on my plans" you lowered your voice, looking at your hands.

- "You weren't in his plans either" he chuckled. "You really have him hooked. Look, seriously I'm sorry, I should've known better than snapping at you like that. I should've known better that my brother wasn't going to fall for a chick like that" he smiled and you smiled back. "Just don't hurt him, okay? That's all I ask" he approached the door.
