Her slender body was covered by a long orange drape. and her lips were red from the rose petals, that she might have ate. A wierd cracking sound broke his thoughts and he noticed the girl was now alarmed and scared. To their surprise another sound, this one more like a bark, came from inside. They both hurried inside.

Inside there was no sourse of sound, their eyes were continiously searching for a reason of the sound. But the roof was quiet and so were the walls. The flames of a burning wooden-hay stick a the end of the room made it warm inside. Bhrunga looked at Vatsala, beautiful and tempting, standing away from him, her skin glowing in the light. Her dark black hairs tied in a bun resting below her beck.

A need of desire engulfed him. He was standing next to her, but still the distance seemed to be eating him. And the next moment he pulled her hand and brought her close to his burning body. she was shocked, but like a black spell dominating her was bounded to the roots. She didn't move or hesitated as he slowly set her hairs free, letting them glide along her back, reaching knees. He pulled her more closer, if that was even possible and killed the wooden fire holding torch by placing a powerful hand over it.

The night was devoid of silence and so was the day. morning brought back the memories of the night. Vatsala was now afraid, ashamed at what all happened. She blamed herself for helping a stranger. She looked around and was bewildered with the absence of the stranger. She unbothered and unconsciously ran out of the house and reached the small Surya temple in their village. She cried there for as long as she can. Vatsala was a  devoted follower of Surya devta. He was her god father. She believed in him and was a benevolent devotee.

Bhrunga was laughing with his companions and feeding his stomach. He thought of Vatsala and the laughter died. She was irresistible. He found himself pulled towards her with an undefined force. He couldn't forget how he left her at the dawn and somehow searching and exploring reached the sea. If he remained outside Devtaas would leave no chance for him to breathe anymore.

"Bhrungasur what are you thinking? Did you find any way out. we cant stay in the water forever. And the devtaas would leave no chance of slaughtering us once they get an opportunity." one of the assura said. A thread of thought ran through his mind. Aware that there end was not so far. But he remained calm.

The day passed in haziness. But the dusk couldn't get her attention until it was dark and cold. The soft breeze ran along her bare skin making her shiver and aware of the place where she was. She got up despite her weak knees and made her way towards her hut. Suddenly a shadow diverted her gaze, what was it? She wondered and moved towards the forest, she then again saw the shadow and as she kept moving the shadow transformed into a man. A man she couldn't forget. It was the same stranger. He was following someone, who, which she couldn't frame. She let her legs take more more step ahead until she saw a young beautiful women. so he was  following a women. How convenient. A storm of fury enveloped her seeing the stranger along with the women as they marched inside. She felt the poison of betrayal filling her veins. But it wasn't saturated, until she saw the next view. She couldn't believe her eyes. The stranger soon transformed into a giant creature. his hairs no longer set at the nape of his neck, his eyes reflecting malignancy, hairs all over his body and two long white teeth making him look deadly.

Reality stroked her and she figured out. He was a demon, a Assura, and not some wood cutter. She was enraged that he lied. More than that the fact that she couldn't protect herself from his spell, throttled her. She gave up her pride to this demon. An unknown stinking feeling flamed inside her. She hated herself. she decided to end her life, there was nothing left to lived for.

But not before she demolishes his life, the danav who cheated her. she cursed him. With all the fire and power that she was capable of she prayed Surya devta (The Sun) and cursed the creature.

""I, Vatsala Kumari, devotee of Surya devta, curse your soul, You would never be able to cheat anyone else ever, You would die the moment you touch any other girl."

With tears of guiltiness flowing continuously from her big beautiful eyes, she returned to her house.

When Bhrunga reached near her hut, Bhrunga was happy. He had met Rudrika, his eldest sister after a very long time. She came here to inform Assuras that they should leave the place as soon as possible or the Devtaas may get them in their clutches. He tilted his head to look at the calmness that enveloped the hut. Their was something that pulled him towards her everytime he thought of Vatsala. Despite being an Assura, Bhrunga was concerned and jolted at the very thought of her presence around him. His legs find their own mind and he walked towards her hut yet again.

The dim light from the lantern guided him to the door and he entered the hut, it was dark inside, unlike the other day. He moved a bit inside and stumbled to something that was lying in the middle of the small space. He touched it slowly, his sight not helping him to recognize the object, thanks to the darkness. but then it felt something familiar and was shocked to believe that it was Vatsala. Probably unconscious lying on the floor.
