I was on my way to my modeling gig I have in an hour , I must say things have been going great for me even through the bullshit I went through I even decided to go to college . Quincy was riding along with me . Me and his relationship was a sister and brother type .
" So you ready for the gig ? " he asked with his eyes still on the road
"Yeah just a little nervous that's all " I said pulling my phone out checking my Instagram
"How are you holding up ?" He asked concern

"Hello" I said dryly
"Listen Mo we really need to talk are you in town" he ask
"What do we need to possibly talk about August ?" I said with an attitude
"We have a lot to talk about you ain't the only one who lost someone " he said annoyed
"Fine you can meet me at the Wings and Things shack in a hour" and with that I hung up
I really wasn't up to talk to him me and August haven't talked in 8months things was just falling apart we would always get into arguments , over the prettiest shit I just wasn't up to it did I still love him of course I did but we had to close that chapter .

I sill couldn't help but to think just two years ago things was going right , everything was perfect the second year I was going to propose to Monica but everything went down hill not only did things cost me the women I truly loved it cost me my child as well it all started when me and Mo was arguing about some bitches texting my phone claiming they was pregnant to me .

"So you really going to sit there and lie and tell me you wasn't texting the bitch back or fucking with her ? How dumb do you think i'am August ! " she said yelling

" she said getting in my face " I knew it wasn't going be long until you went back to the bitch who did you dirty what did I do to you August to make you hurt me like this " she said as tears rolled down her eyes
I tried to grabbed her arm but she snatched away from me
"I need space , it's time we go on a break away from each other " she said wiping her tears away " I know my worth I refuse to let any man hurt me" she said coldly
"What you mean we need space ? You got all the space you need in this damn house , so whatever space you was talking bout you can hang it up " he said with hurt in his voice
Next thing you know bullets was flying through the house I tried to rush over to Monica but when I looked she was on the ground hit ,
"Mo baby please stay with me " I said as her eyes was closing and a puddle of blood was filling up the floor
I called the ambulance and gave em our location letting em know my girl was shot about 10minutes they pulled out and she was rush to the hospital

That night I found out she lost the baby , she was shot in her stomach after that things between me and her got rough we would fuss and put our hands on each other I would stay out late at night drinking not being able to cope with the lost of my unborn child .
"Did you talk to her " Chris asked coming in the living room with the sandwich he made stuffing his face
"Damn nigga you always going in my refrigerator looking for shit , but yeah I talked to her and told her we need to talk
"Coo I really miss y'all two together , things just isn't the same Monica is like a sister to me . But bro you was out of line for how you treated her you know that girl love you and would do anything for you " Chris said which was true
"Yeah I know , I was just dumb and too caught up " I shook my head
"All you can do is try to make things right now , it's going take her some time but you broke her heart man"
I took it everything Chris said and he was right , I messed things up now I'm regretting the shit I done . I just want my girl back I can't lie and say I don't miss her because I do Monica was perfect for me but I took her for granted .
