I take a turn down the beige-colored hallway. "Mom! I'm done brushing! Can I go read now!" I shout over my shoulder. "Sure! I'll be there in thirty minutes!" She yells. I walk into the room filled with darkness, turning on a lamp. The light bulb shines colors of pink, yellow, orange, and purple all over the beige wall. I then grab a book and lay on my bed. I open the book.

I'm in Switzerland, there is a blizzard and I look down at myself. I'm wearing a fur hat and jacket that fit perfectly. I look down, I'm wearing a black skirt with thick tights and black snow boots. The wind throws snow my way and my face is a pale blue hue. I see a mansion in the distance and I try to run towards it. When I am almost halfway, a man taps my shoulder. "Agnes, the crime scene is this way." He says. He leads me to a frozen bench. There is a woman sitting on the bench, she almost looks alien. Her body is covered in a thin layer of ice. Then, a thin layer of snow and then a thick layer of blue ice. "The poor thing, she must have tripped during this storm." Another man says. I come close to her and look her up and down. A deep cut is visible through the ice. The blood must have froze during this storm. "She didn't trip. She was murdered—" I say.

Suddenly, a voice says "Abbey?" The world becomes blurry and then I see that I'm looking at words on a page. "Abbey? It's time to go to bed." She says. I look around me. The blizzard was gone, I was just reading. "Goodnight Mom." I say as I give her a hug then turn off the lights. She exits the room. I look at the city lights outside my window and finally, I fall asleep.
