[ S U M M A R Y ]

On the ark, having a second child was illegal. Which means that the second child's parents would get floated, and the second child to be locked up until they were old enough to get floated too. And that would leave the first born child alone, with no parents nor a home.

But that was not the case with Persephone's family. 7 years after Persephone's birth, her mother had, with no purpose, winded up being pregnant with a second child.

After the 5 months of pregnancy, the mother was showing. And everybody knew about her second unborn child. So the council members decided behind the mother's and the father's back to take the baby away from her parents the moment the child was born, and give her to a family with no children. Then, when the child would turn 14, they'd lock her up, and then float her when she would turn 18 like it was her fault that she was born. And then they'd mercilessly float the parents to the young girls.

But, there is a twist to this tragedy; the little child, Persephone's younger sister, who they called Hope, had been cursed with a disease that would slowly drive her insane till it would kill her.

Such irony, for Hope, was such a sweet name, but it gave anything but hope.

So, left all alone with no family in the world, Persephone met a young boy who may be the only reason to her happiness.
