Siana POV
Day 31
James Hartman had been right; the pain was unbearable. I could feel the bug eating and growing inside my stomach. It has been going on for days now. I felt it move, forcing my body to extend further than normal and I felt its claws dig in my organs, I felt its teeth rip through them, piece by piece.
I felt like dying.
I had been screaming, screeching and howling in pain. I tried scratching my way inside my abdomen to get rid of the creature but my nails were either broken or ripped off. I couldn't stop crying. This was the worst thing I had ever felt. Forget watching a comatose Jimmy, wondering if she could ever wake up. Forget having a wing ripped off by demons or a castle fall on your head. They were nothing. Not compared to this atrocity.
I've been begging for the pain to stop. All I wanted was the bug out of me. For the very few times I was aware of my surroundings, I saw Christoph lying in a ball in the corner with his hands over his ears. I begged him to help me but he never moved from his position.
"Swear fealty to me" I heard James scream over my head.
"No" I cried. I wasn't sure he heard me over my screams. They all sounded the same to me. He had been here so often I thought he may have been sleeping here. But I couldn't give in, I couldn't.
"You stubborn bitch" he yelled in pure anger. "Swear it and your pain will end"
"No, no" I felt spit fall out of my mouth by this time. I had no control on my body anymore. My eyes were burning from the tears, my ears ringing from the noise. I could barely form a word because my throat was so raw.
"Sir, she's going to die if you do not remove the centipede" a voice said.
"Not yet" I heard James say. "No one has lasted so long, she will break"
"No, no, no, no" I felt the bug making its way closer to my heart, or was it still in my intestines? I couldn't tell. Nor did I care, I wanted it all to end.
I was holding onto my stomach, thinking that it would fall off if it wasn't being held. I heard James swear, I think. Everything was getting blurry as I toppled over, my shoulder banging the cold hard floor. I felt something touch my lips and liquid began to drop inside my mouth. As a reflex, I spat it out and it landed on James face who barley flinched, but seemed furious. His hand tightened on my scalp and emptied the entire bottle of liquid in my mouth before covering it with a gloved hand.
"This is going to hurt" he growled in my ear.
I felt the liquid journey down my throat. It was warm and almost welcoming. Almost. I remember vaguely this saying about the calm before the storm. How everything stills before chaos strikes like a tornado. This is exactly what happened. I took as big a breath as my body would let me as I felt the centipede stop moving inside but that surely did not last long.
I remember beginning to scream again, louder this time, as the bug began to move harder and faster through my stomach. I trashed around until I was on my knees with both my hands on my abdomen, trying to stop the pain. I bellowed more when the bug made its way upward. It was now close to my chest area.
My screams suddenly stopped when the centipede began his way into my throat. It had become so big, my throat stretched and stretched until I couldn't breathe anymore. Everyone heard my jaw shatter as my mouth was forced open. It felt like a long vomiting process but the thing coming out of your mouth was too big and too alive. The first thing I saw coming out were the antennas followed by its first claw-like leg. The body soon followed onto the frozen ground. I could see its dozens and dozens of sharp legs that would hook themselves in my tissues and push in order to move. I coughed blood and bug goo as the final section of the bug left my throat, my mouth and onto the ground.
