A single lone tear,

slid down her cheek.

To fall upon the books,

that on her desk lay heaped.

Too hard to remember,

too difficult to write.

All of this, every single thing,

too hard to take in.

Try as she can,

she fails all the time.

Tried everything possible,

it ends up with her crying.

Her heart tightened with grief,

as her strength sapped away.

She feared the books,

she once used to love.

Terrified, she cast it all away.

All the truth, the only truth,

that ever made her unique,

her true self, her identity,

her silly yet her-like deeds.

She died that day,

on the inside.

Though to bring her back,

There is only one way.

She needs a friend who'll listen to her heart,

and lighten her burden everyday.

She needs a friend who'll hold her hand,

and be there for her any day.

But most of all,

she needs someone whom she can trust with her life,

who would help her along life's away.

I dedicate this poem to Amanda Todd. I am truly truly sorry for what happened, and her story really made me cry. I wish she was alive to read this, but if she can read it from heaven, Then she should know that she inspires me to stay alive, and not give up.
