One rainy afternoon a kid named Hiro was about to go home from school but suddenly he heard a cry coming from the park. The Hiro search where the cry was coming from and he saw a wounded puppy inside a carton box. He felt pity to the puppy so he lifts the puppy inside the box and took it home. The Hiro begged his parents to keep the puppy as a pet and agreed to the kid but he needs to take care of it.
5 years later the two of them became so close to each other that they were mostly with each other. Then one night on their way home from a trip Hiro’s family and Sammy had a car accident. Hiro’s parents died while protecting Hiro and he fell unconscious, Sammy was also badly hurt and not leaving his family. After one and a half hour the ambulance came to get the kids family but the ambulance doesn’t allow animals inside, after the ambulance go to the hospital Sammy followed it but it was too fast for him to follow it but the ambulance was too fast for Sammy to catch up so he was left behind.
Sammy searched everywhere to find his family even through all his injury and all the natural disasters he still kept on searching. After 3 months of searching Sammy was almost about to give up on searching he saw a boy that looked like Hiro but when he approached the boy, the boy was scared and ran away. Sammy kept on following the boy every single day. A week has passed since he kept on following the boy that looked like Hiro and finally the boy approached Sammy and comfort him by saying that “I know that the boy that you’ve been searching for maybe looks like me but that boy is no longer here because I have any memory about my past because of an accident last 3 months ago and even if I was that boy I am not allowed to have a pet at home because my uncle that took care of me after my parents died is allergic to dogs so sorry”. The boy left Sammy and gone back to his home and Sammy kept on sitting outside on the boy’s house.
After several days the boy noticed that Sammy was no longer waiting outside of his house and somehow felt a little down hearted. The boy had gone to the park to meet his friends and suddenly became surrounded by many dogs. He thought that he was going to be bitten but suddenly Sammy appeared and distracted the Dogs to let the boy that looks like Hiro. The boy left Sammy to go for help but the time he return to the place where he was attacked the dogs and Sammy was no longer there. Then he suddenly heard a cry. He followed the cry and found Sammy bitten all over his body. The boy slowly approached Sammy and questioned himself why Sammy did sacrifice himself for him. Sammy licked the boy’s hand in order to comfort him to his last breath. Hiro suddenly remembered everything he forgotten and looked at Sammy that looked like the same the first time they meet. Hiro hugged Sammy’s dead body and cried his heart. Suddenly it rained strongly while there was no single cloud in the sky and in the sunset.
After 10 years Hiro became a writer and shared the story of the bravery of a man’s best friend and its sacrifice and suffering to everyone to know that friendship can overcome any struggles and suffering. And he became famous on his works to other countries and telling to everyone that you will never be alone, that there is someone always there to help you.
