Hotaru POV:
I've finally gotten strong enough to find Itachi and be something he'd be proud of. I head in the direction where people have seen Akatsuki members before they attack. Filled with excitement, I begin to start running. I run and run, until I open my eyes and I see i'm about to run off a cliff. I stop running and skid to a stop.
"Phew. Close one."
I look over the cliff and see a river. Across the river I see boulder covering a cave entrance. I sweatdrop. It's a bit obvious. I shrug and jump off the cliff and land on the ground across from the boulder. I send chakra to my feet and walk across the river. Now to deal with boulder. I send chakra to my fist and i'm about to punch it, when a small hole catches my eye.
'Thank god for weathering! It's big enough for me to squeeze through.' I think.
After 5 minutes of squeezing and pushing, I make it through. I look at the long stretching tunnel in front of me.
'This is going to suck....horribly.'
I follow the candles on the wall and continue forward, not before quickly masking my chakra of course.
Apparently, they don't make the hideout simple. Nope, not at all. There's so many twist and turns, my head hurts.
'What I wouldn't do for a Hyuuga right now. Speaking of which, I wish Hinata was here.'
Hinata was my bestfriend back in Konoha, well before I left. I sigh and start trudging forward, when I hear somebody. Two somebodies actually. Wait no, many somebodies. I freeze in my tracks and listen.
"Leader-sama, why have you requested us?" a deep voice says.
I peek my head from the edge of a turn and see that it's coming from a room.
"Well you see Sasori, I have to inform you guys that I want the Akatsuki to lay low for a while."
I saunter closer.
"What the fuck? Why the fuck would fucking do that?!"
I roll my eyes, but continue.
"Hidan, don't argue with Leader." a different deep voice says.
"Shut the fuck up, Itachi!"
My eyes widen. Itachi. He just said Itachi. My brother! Before I know what i'm doing, I run in there full speed. In a quick flash I find Itachi and wrap my arms around him. All in a matter of a few seconds. I feel tension and disbelief in the room.
"Itachi." I murmur, "It's me, Hotaru."
He pulls away from the hug and examines me with wide eyes.
"Hotaru..?"
"Yes." I say, smiling.
Suddenly, i'm pulled back into hug.
"Hehe, I missed you too Itachi.
I wrap my arms around him again and enjoy the moement.
"What. The. Fuck!?" the foulmouthed one yelled.
