Reality of Irony

Have you ever been outside?
Have you ever been out in the real world?
A world that's not made up?
Where we find ways to hide our pain from others or they hide it from us.
We escape to imaginary worlds where everything fixes itself.
We wouldn't even remember there was a problem because everything would already be perfect.
This world we live in isn't perfect and neither are the people in it.
The reality is... irony.
The "fat" starve themselves until they're anorexic.
Our families hurt us.
Our friends shut us out.
People try to "help" us but it backfires to where we hurt ourselves.
Children switch religions from their pressuring parents.
The abused become abusers.
Whispers and laughter turn to crying and yelling.
Humans get replaced by robots and friends get replaced by electronics.
The rich go bankrupt while the poor stay in poverty.
Peer pressure causes good students to have bad and low self confidence.
We help people so we can bring them down.
We are called the human race because none of us can slow down to appreciate what we have.
This reality we live in is called life, but how are we supposed to solve the world's metaphors if we can't even solve our own.
