Sweet Memories...

Y/N POV:

As elders now we sit in reminisce over the old memories we had. I was truly blessed to find somebody like mateo, through all our ups and down I must say I still love him to this. I stare into the sky on my porch as I remember all the good ole days I had when I was younger with him.  Back to the day when I was younger when he tried his best to always make me pay attention to him. He would even try to sing that song by Debarge- I like it. He was a mess but I started liking this guy. But what I remember most was the first kiss I had with him during this car ride back in the 90s. Let me tell you all bout it!

3rd Person POV:

It was the summer in California. It was a nice day and the sun was beginning to set and Mateo was taking Y/N home from hanging out with friends. But Y/N favorite jam came on. She was immediately like turn this jam on. Mateo starts to chuckle as he see you mouth the words to the song. He turns it up and says, "omg yasss I love tony toni tone." It was a quiet night and all you saw was the road. Looking into your eyes he mouth the words and says..

You start to chuckle as you realize he was actually serious but it was time to go since he pulled up at your house. Before you get out of the car you look to him and say, "I had fun and I'm glad to have you as a friend thankyou for everything." With that he then says, "let me walk to your house atleast."  As soon as you get on the door Mateo gave you a kiss and said, "I really like you can I be your man? I see how you look at me I know you like me." With that you chuckled saying of course and gave him a hug and closed the door to your house after saying goodnight.

Y/N POV: 

With that I start to kinda cry remembering that special moment of the first time  we started going out. Now he's dead but it's ok I would be leaving soon to join him. We were married for 47 years before he passed I will forever love him and our children that we had. I can tell I'm getting old I even have grandchildren but that's the beauty about life you share it with someone special you have fun, laugh, cry, smile, and go to the next level. Awww sweet memories!
