~Andy's POV~
Jon sure knew how to pick a hotel. Most hotels we stayed at looked decent. This one.... this one was like those drug-run motels seen in bad-side-of-the-town movies. The hotel office was separate from the actual rooms. The rooms themselves, on the outside were painted a puke green and the door's paint was chipping off. Some of the rooms didn't even have numbers. I looked around uneasily as we walked into the office. A short man with a thick mustache stood up from his chair in the corner and greeted us.

"Welcome to the Super 6 Hotel. Name?" The man, who I assumed was the manager, asked.

"Black Veil Brides." I answered.

He frowned. "Oh, you guys aren't a rock band, are you? I don't need any trouble at this hotel."

"Sir, I promise there will be no trouble. We're not that type of band."

He hesitated before typing in our name and handed us six keys. "You guys will be in rooms 5-11. And if I hear any noises, I will call the police."

I nodded as I grabbed the keys- which he reluctantly let go of- and passed them out to Jake, Jinxx, CC, Ashley and Jon. The techs usually sleep on the bus if we get a hotel so we save a bit of money. Mikayla took my hand and laced her fingers in between mine as we walked to room 5. I unlocked the door and opened it as a wave of cigarette smoke and spilt alcohol hit our noses.

Mikayla's nose wrinkled in disgust. "I'd rather sleep on the bus than sleep here."

I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her close to me. "I know, baby girl. But we have to sleep here. Maybe we can walk to a corner store to get some air freshener."

Mikayla nodded before she crossed the room bravely and opened a window. She ran back to me, letting out a breath I didn't know she was holding. I quickly closed the door and locked it. Mikayla held my hand and we walked down the street in search of a little store.

"So, if you don't mind me asking, how did you end up with Ethan?" I asked impulsively.

Mikayla was quite for a few steps before she spoke. "Asia and I met him at a party Asia's sister dragged us to in our freshman year. He was easily the cutest guy at the party. He came up to us with a confident smile and started talking to me. Asia left us alone and we flirted with each other almost the entire night. About a month after the party, he asked me to be his girlfriend. I accepted, thinking the way he had been acting before we got together was how he was going to be. But I was dead wrong. He immediately started treating me like shit, berating me in front of his friends and band mates. And about a year after we had been together, I caught him sleeping with Asia's sister. I was devastated. Here I thought I found someone who would help me with everything I was going through at home and he does this. After he detached her from his body and pulled some clothes on, I broke up with him. I haven't seen him since then. Well, except when he was at my mom's house."

I hadn't realized we found a store until she had stopped talking. I let go of her hand and pulled her in for a tight hug and softly stroked her hair.

"I'm so sorry, baby girl. You didn't deserve any of that."

She pulled away slightly and looked up at me. "It's okay, Andy. I'm kinda glad things worked out that way they did."

I furrowed my eyebrows and looked down at her. "And why's that?"

She smiled sheepishly. "Because I wouldn't be able to do this."

She stood up on her toes and pressed her lips to mine. I smiled and kissed her back happily. Yeah, that asshole hurt her and I would have kicked his smug ass when we were at her mom's house but she's mine now. Well, not technically mine but soon she will be. She pulled away after a couple of minutes and unwrapped my arms from her waist.
