Miracle in two Weeks

Chapter eleven

During the pregnancy I have tried to see my daughter Angela, but without a job it was hard to get gas to pick her up . The relationship between me and Husain had become strained due to him not liking my husband Ali , Husain felt like Ali was taking his family away from him. he had felt attached to my kids and wanted to be in there life. When Ali married me he assumed the father roll to them , that made Husain jealous that the kids liked Ali. Hussain's own daughter liked Ali and would ask about him .
Husain 's fiancé Liz had offered to bring Angela to to see me if i wanted to see her .

Things seemed to be ok for a little while, except the nasty messages husain would send to my phone about Ali. He had sent messages like that since I married Ali, calling him names and saying Ali was just using me for a green card.

On the 20th of july Angela had come to spend the night with her sisters. That evening Liz texted asking how Angela was doing, and if I wanted her to pick up Angela.

I texted her and explained that the girls were playing and having fun, I told her they were good and settled in for the night. She asked if she could take Danielle the next day for a visit over night when she picks up Angela, I told her that would be fine if Danielle wanted to go.
Ali had been sick with a nasty sinus infection, so I figured he needed a rest from a lot of kids.

The next day kitty and her friend Lilly showed up, lilly had brought her kids to visit with the girls. We were all talking and the kids were playing when Husain and Liz showed up.

" Lynn take the girls out to Husain " I told her .

Lynn took them out to the car and soon came back in. Lynn told me Husain wanted her to go too but I told her to tell him no.

" Lily's kids came to play , it's bad enough that Danielle is leaving " I said to her. She went out to tell them she couldn't go, after a few minutes lynn came back inside.

" He's not happy " Lynn told me.

"I don't care , your my daughter not his and its up to me if you can go." I told her.

Later that evening Liz texted me about Lynn , asking about Lynn coming the next day . I told Liz me and Lynn would talk about it . A few minutes later she texted me saying Lynn said ok she would go. I'm like what the hell!

Lynn had been at kitty's that evening visiting, and it pissed me off that she ignored what I said and texted Lynn. like excuse me ! I said I would talk to her . So I told her no she's not going. I'm thinking to myself "I'm her mother,shes a child and my child."  Who the hell are you to ask her like i dont matter.

She then started messaging me about how there would be problems with Husain if I didn't let lynn go over there. Like I give a shit , who are you to tell me what I'm gonna do . After going back and forth with her Husain started and I'm at my flipping point.
" I'm not gonna be bullied or threatened , that crap don't work on me." I texted . So I spoke my peace and after a few more messages I went to bed.

The next day all hell broke lose and changed the way things would be from now on.

I texted Liz because she told me she would bring Danielle back today.
"what time are you coming to drop off Danielle " I asked her.
She told me they were coming now and would be here in 5 minutes .
Kitty had come over and Ali's brother was home, We were all in the living room when Hussain and liz pulled up in front of the house.
Everyone got up and went to sit on the porch.
while I walked to the car to get Danielle everyone else stayed on the porch, Husain stepped out of the drivers side of his suv and opened the back door to let Danielle out.
I watched Danielle walk around the back of the car and past me to the porch.
I turned back expecting Husain to get back in the car and leave, but that did not happen.
Husain had seen Ali standing on the porch and walked around the back of the car up into the yard. Husain proceeded to start talking to Ali in english but Ali only spoke to him in arabic and it started to become arguing.
Ali came down the steps to stand beside me, since i was still standing down near where Hussain was.
Liz and Husain's mother got out of the car and kitty and Rod came off the porch as well. Kitty stood between Ali and Husain to keep them out of each other's reach. Rod stood to the side of kitty but also blocking any contact between Hussain and ali.
They continued having words when Husain stepped towards kitty wanting to hit ali who was still behind her. Rob put his hand on Husain's arm trying to talk to him and cool him down but Husain moved his arm quickly hitting Rob and knocking him down.Rob being obviously angry  threw his stuff on the steps and grabbed the statue that was sitting there.
Husain seeing this back handed rob and knocking the statue out of Robs hands while also accidentally knocking his mother down .
This further angered Hussain and Husain having the temper he does walked behind Liz turned back yelled at Ali and Rob, he then turned toward the car and broke the light in the yard with his foot as he walked .
Husain headed for the car on the drivers side, his mom had followed him trying to get him to calm down.
The guys and kitty started up the stairs to the porch and Husain's mom gets in the car to sit with Angela who had been alone in the car during all this.
Husain opens the driver side door and reaches to the passenger side to get something out of the glove compartment,
I am watching him wonder what he was getting out of the car.
He then walks quickly back around behind the car into the yard raising his hand revealing a gun. Hussain points it at the porch where Ali was standing.

"Oh my god he's got a gun !" Kitty screamed and started trying to push Ali, Rob, Lynn and Danielle into the house.
"I yelled at Husain about the gun, his fiancé Liz tries to tell me he has a CCW. I proceeded to tell her " I don't give a shit, he has no grounds to pull it and point it at my husband" I yelled.
Liz grabbed Hussain's arm to try to get him to the car, Kitty tried to get me to go in the house by pushing me towards the steps.

" he ain't gonna shoot me in front of my three year old " I told her.  I continued yelling at him as Liz tried putting Husain in the passenger seat but he jumped out and ran to the driver door.  Hussain jumped in while Liz got in the passenger side and They quickly drove off as I yelled at them I would call the police but my husband came outside and told me he already did.

Five minutes later cops showed up at my house, we told them in detail what had happened before they came.
The one cop said he knew Husain's store and I had a feeling he didn't want to help us. We gave the police all our statements. Then the officers left and we headed inside still pissed off .
Monday we went downtown to fill out a reports with the detective and hopefully get Hussain for what happened on Friday.
Kitty and Susan had wrote out in detail the events of the past Friday, making sure not to leave anything out. Ali had to go back another day to do a video report , since he didn't trust his English writing abilities.
