"Jessie, what's wrong?" Jordan says leaning over trying to read the note.

"I'm leaving" I get up from the table and walk towards the front door we came in from.

"Where are you gonna go?" He yells after me.

I fling the note up in the air and walk out of there into the rain which is pouring. I walk up to the car and pull out the keys I stole from Jordans pocket. I get in and shut the door, letting out a sigh I stare out into the parking lot. I see Jordan running out of the restraunt holding the note in his hand.

Knock! Knock! I immediately turn to see Jordan knocking repeatedly on the window.

"Let me in, I can explain" the look of straight fear on his face.

"Why do you look so scared?" I laugh as I roll down the window.

He looks down at me and just stares till he reaches in and unlocks the door and runs to the passengers seat. Shit.

"She is a fucking phsyco, I used to date her when I was like 18 and I was dumb and got her pregnant, so I married her. Then she had a miscarriage and honestly I was so fucking happy. So I broke up with her and left the only reason I won't divorce her is because. Well that's not important but just listen she just"

"I get it" I say as I swing the car door open.

I left it at that moment because I really didn't want to pry on something that isn't my business. I ran to the restraunt door and walked inside, not to far behind me is Jordan. I saw him from the corner of my eye, put the note in his pocket.

"Diane, can I talk to you?" I say softly to her.

"Of course honey what is it?"

I grab Jordan and reach in his pocket for his note that Jane left for him.

"What do you think your doing?" Jordan whispers I shake his hand off my shoulder and continue.

"I don't think you should let your employees give notes like this to customers, it's not appropriate" I explain handing her the note.

Her eyes scan the note back and forth till she looks up at me and her face gets red, I'm guessing out of anger. I step back knowing this might not go over well.

"Jane, I'd like to talk to you privately" she yells. She grabs my shoulder and whispers "I've been waiting for a reason to fire her for years" she laughs.

I couldn't help but let out a laugh and then Jordan of course had to kill my good mood.

"What was that all about?" He says grabbing my shoulder and jerking me back.

I walk over to our booth where Beth sits coloring her place mat. I slide in and pick up my water cup.

"Aren't you gonna sit down?" I say to Jordan, pointing next to me.

He slides into the booth and picks up the menu, I pick mine up and scan it till I find Chicken Parmesan I've always liked that.

"What are you getting?" I ask Jordan who is still scanning the menu.

"Chicken Parmesan" he says looking up from his menu at me.

"Oh my gosh me too that's my favorite" I laugh finally finding something that we have in common.

"How about some wine?" He asks looking up at me smiling.

"Depends what do you like better red or white?" I ask trying to find another thing to have in common.

"Red" he blurts setting his menu on the table.

"Ah jeez" I laugh.

"Hello I'm Lin and I'll be your waiteress, have you decided what you want?"

"Beth have you decided?" I ask as she raised her head up from her picture.

"Yeah I'll have Macaroni and cheese" she says softly.

"And you sir" she says staring at Jordan who had his eyes glued on me.

"Yes I'm sorry we will both have a glass of the best red wine you have and we will have chicken parmesan" he gathers up the menus and hands them to the waitress.

"Okay thank you, the food will be right out" she says before she walks back to the kitchen.

Jordan looks over at me and smiles for awhile and all I can do is stare back at him. His bright eyes and his chiseled features, he's practically perfect. He's got a tattoo on his face but I can't really tell what it is.

After about 5 minutes he grabs my hand and says "Come on" he pulls me out of the booth.

"Where are we going?" I laugh playfully.

"I wanna show you something" he begins pulling me away from the table. A bunch of thoughts run through my head.

He pulls me into a small room in the back of the building where a bunch of pictures are hung on the wall and a small desk, with a lamp on it sits in the corner.

"What is this?"

"Where I spent most my childhood" he laughs while wrapping his arm around me.

"This looks boring" I laugh.

"Well I had to hide from all the drama"

I lean my head into his shoulder and he wraps his hands around my waist.

"Don't ever leave me" he whispers.

I jerk my head up and look up at him "why would I leave" I question.

"Everyone always leaves I know I am practically forcing you to move in with me, and this is all moving so quickly but"

I cut him off when I lean forward and plant my lips against his.

"Don't ever think I'll leave you, never ever" I smile and all the sudden I hear a door creek open and I feel a cold gust of wind.

Jane steps in the the room, immediately gasping as she sees us. She drops her purse and everything spills on the floor. Obviously she was planning on screwing Jordan because a condom flew out and her birth control pills. He immediately let's go of me and begins helping her. I let out a sigh and walk away.

"Where are you going?" Jordan exclaims as he gets up.

"Away from you two obviously" I roll my eyes and walk threw the door that leads back to the dining area.
