Hallie's POV
*Beep beep beep beep*
The alarm sounded all around my room. I rolled over and hit it off. I got up and I went to my dresser to pick out an outfit. I decided on a black shirt, orange skirt, black tights, black boots, and a jean jacket. It was the third week of school so it was still rather warm out. After I got dressed I went into the bathroom to do my makeup. I put on foundation, mascara, and red lipstick. I had sourdough toast for breakfast which wasn't a lot but it was sufficient.
"Come on Hallie. You are going to be late!" My mom yelled to me when was watching the television.
"I'm leaving now mom!" I said back as I made my way to the door. I got in the driver's seat of my baby blue mustang to go to school.
Ten minutes later I arrived at school. I go to Alexander Hamilton High in San Diego. I'm a junior and so are my friends. I pulled into a parking spot and went to where my friends hang out in the morning. When I got there my friends Ashlee, Jordan, Nico, James, Matt, and Justin were all there.
"Hey guys," I say as I approach them.
"Hey Hallie," Justin said back. His hair was all sorts of messy and he was wearing a bright blue shirt with black jeans.
"How was everyone's weekend?" I ask.
"It was alright," Nico responded while running his fingers through his short dark brown hair that was parted to one side like always, and the sides of his hair shaved off. It looks newly cut, his chocolate brown eyes sparkling in the sun. God he was so hot. "me and James went kayaking," he finished.
"Yeah it was awesome," James added. He had the same hair style and Nico but it was lighter and parted to the other side. His eyes were a sad gray but they had so much happiness in them all the time. Like he was in love.
"You guys spend every second together if I didn't know better I would have thought you two were gay," Jordan said. Her medium brown hair was in a braid and she was in jeans and a tee shirt. We all laughed at that comment. Nico and James had known each other since basically birth. Their moms had been best friends all through high school and they went to the same church. As well as Nico and James. They were both raised in very Christian homes. Ashlee, Jordan, and Justin are Mormon and I go to a lot of things with them but I'm not very religious.
James responded with, "yeah, no me and Nico are just bros."
I saw Nico give James a side glance but I didn't think anything of it.
"So Hallie," Justin started "what did you do this weekend?"
"Well I went up to Sacramento for my cousins birthday. She is seven now. But other than that nothing really."
*dling dling dling*
The bell rang to start first period.
