Hazel went into town to looking for Kameron. She saw Kameron talking to Hawk about some secret. Hazel was hoping he would not to tell anyone. She went over by them, quickly. She was nervous, and stress to the max. Hazel tries to listen in on their conversation, besides a building. Her ears started to ring; heard them clearly. They were talking about a sweet party, after the graduation. She was scared of what her mother would say about it.
"We know you are there, Hazel. She is such a weirdo, Kameron. I am not sure why you hang out with her. Her mother is insanely hot, though." Hawk responded.
"Hey, Hawk; Hey, Kameron; how is going, guys? I was not trying to listen in on your conversation. Are we all invited to the graduation party?" Hazel replied.
"Of course, it is a public lake. {Laughing} Could I talk to you, over here, for a minute? It is important, real quick." Kameron replied.
He pulls her over to a quiet place to talk. Hazel felt confused about what he wanted to talk, about. She was up all night, thinking a lot about it. Hazel does not know if she could trust him or not. Her friendship would be hanging on by a thread.
"What is the matter with you? You do not trust me with your secret, or your mom does not? I need to know if you are on the same page as me. We can be no longer friends if there is no trust. Why did you tell your mother, that I knew anyway?" Kameron responded.
"I am sorry that, I told her; I never lie to my mother. She put the thoughts in my head. You are one of my best friends. My mom wanted to kill you if you told people about me. Sorry, I question our friendship; see you later, then, Kameron." Hazel Explained.
She went to a store to get a drink. Valentia went inside the warehouse. Hazel was angry with her mother for the crazy thoughts. She thought her mother was working. Apparently, Valentia was not working today. I almost lost her friendship over it. Hazel just ignored her altogether. After paying, she walks out the store. Her mother walks out running toward her. She tried to stop her from leaving.
"I talked to, Kameron; I knew, he would not tell a soul about me; almost lost my friendship today, because of you. It freaked me out that you would kill him. It kept me up all night worried about him. Just want to ignore you, altogether." Hazel {yelled} out.
"Do not ignore me, when I am talking to you. How dare you speak to me like that? You apologize for your outburst. Fine, no harm will come to him, okay. Therefore, you have my word. Can we talk about this when we get home? I have been working so much, lately. We barely get to hang out with each other, since you were a kid." Valentia replied.
"Well, do not say crap like that to me. Fine, do not want to hear anything about killing Kameron, again. I will never talk to you again, about anything. You cannot even tell me the truth about me or anyone of our family members." Hazel said.
Later that day, the dusk sets in. Hazel and Valentia went home. The next morning Hazel phone went off. Kameron was texting her, continuously. Valentia got ready for Hazel's graduation. She was excited about her daughter's graduation. Hazel wanted to go with her friends. However, Valentia wanted Hazel to go with her. Hazel went with her mother anyways. Valentia arrived at Hazel's school as an announcement was going off.
"Good morning, at Hollowcliff high. It's graduation day for all senior's, report to the gym now and lines up." announcements said.
After the ceremony, all the seniors ran outside, quickly. They begin to throw their caps in the air. Everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather. It was getting a little hot outside.
"There is a graduation party at the Kreek, later. Ever senior is invited there." Hawk spoke out.
"Could you come pick me up, later, Hawk?" Maverick replied.
