The Bounded Kross {Short Story for now}

Chapter Four: Extremely Distraction

"Do not talk to me about trust with my daughter. You betrayed, Hazel, and I. How could you do this to us? I never thought you would stoop this low. You take her mother away from her. She will hunt you down to kill you." Valentia responded.

"It was simple for me to get you alone. Whenever, Hazel was away from you. I do not have a mother; it was storm all along. My mother died when I was a baby. She found me in a group home. Storm knew you were here the whole time. She found were you hiding a while ago.

"You think these creatures will stop me, think again. I was alive for a long time little man. You will never get my daughters; I will not let you have them." Valentia responded.

Valentia tried to battle it by using a strength spell. However, she wounded the creature. Hawk started to get angry that he wanting to do it himself. He does hand-to-hand combat, getting her to the ground, shooting her in the neck with a sleeping dart. The creature grabs her body carrying it to Storm's hideout. Hawk started {laughing} hard down the road. Hazel came walking up to him, did not see her mother

"Where is my mother, Hawk? I thought she would be behind me; you told me, that you were going to behind me." Hazel responded.

"I am sorry, Hazel; we both put up a fight, overcome us. The creature took your mother from me. There was nothing, I could do. We will find her, trust me. We just need a car too." Hawk replied.

Hazel walked off down a dirt road She punches a tree right inside of it; make a whole of her arm's length, pulling her arm out of the tree. Hazel felt anger is overcoming her. Hawk stares at Hazel with a surprised look on his face. He was feeling proud of himself.

"What you mean, steal one? We are not thieves and do not plan to be one. I know we will have to do this for the rest of our lives; I don't know if I could do this any longer." Hazel responded.

"Your mother is a strong person too. Sure, she will survive. I am hungry, let us eat; we cannot fight evil on an empty stomach. You are the only one that can save this world. Your mother cannot help your sister, Fiona, or us either. We are on our own for now. Now, let us find a car, I saw one a block away. I wish I had my mustang, though." Hawk replied.

"Why are you worried about your damn car, Hawk? Instead of worrying about your mother and my mother, it seems as if you do not care to save them. I wish Elizabeth was here to help me; find our mother." Hazel said.

Hawk's phone started ringing, continuously. His head started to hurt, grabbing both sides of his head until he answered it. Hawk was thinks how to get the two Krosses. Hazel was using the house phone to call Elizabeth.

"All I was got was her voicemail, left her one. I told her everything that happened; someone took our mother. However, I doubt she will check her messages anytime soon. We did not get along all that much. Elizabeth was here, we would always fight about something. She was always mad at me over, whatever I did. I thought I came first to my mother. My mom loves the both of us the same. She is missing, probably died or hurting." Hazel responded.

Hazel sat on a couch with hands on her head. She felt alone, even though, Hawk was around. Hazel does not want to put her trust on Hawk. She went upstairs to a bedroom to sleep. Hawk could not sleep of his victory defeating a powerful witch of our time.

"Were you able to find out, where Valentia hid my belongings? No, there is something big coming from the creek soon. There is another creature named, am-beast; you will find out here in the minute, why." Storm responded.

He saw something rushing toward Hawk, quickly. The Creature slams into Hawk and through a wall. The beast walks into a living room, sniffing out Hawk's place. A beast went looking around Hawk's house for Hazel. The beast checks room-by-room, upstairs breaking through each wall. Hazel escape out a window, trying to get down. As Hazel caught a nail by her shirt, trying to get it uncaught. She lands on the ground. Hazel saw Hawk lying by the stairs unconscious. She began to sprint down a road. The creature saw her running down the street. It started to get angry making another hole. A beast starts running doe a road after Hazel.
