Chapter 3

Jessica‘s P.O.V

Dr. Banner and I have been working for many hours and finally decided to take a break. A we were eating our dinner a man with a lot of guards around him looked at Bruce and smiled, and he smiled back.

“Who’s that?” I asked, stumped on who that odd man was.

“Just take a guess… no? Ok well that’s Loki right there sweetie!” Bruce exclaimed with enthusiasm

“Oh…” I paused “Sometimes I can be the biggest damn idiot you will ever meet!” I said trying very hard to hold back my laughter.

Bruce looked at me and began to laugh along with me, “So where is this criminal mastermind being held!” I exclaimed between laughs.

His expression turned serious and said, “Come on your not that must of a damn idiot, to go looking for him… are you!”

I just laughed at him, “Well maybe is I bat my eyelashes he will tell me where the tesseract is!”

We both just sat there and laughed for the rest of our break.

Loki’s P.O.V

I walked down a long hallway and to my surprise that “Hulk” thing was staring at him. I sent my most pleasant smile. As I walked away I heard a murmur and spontaneous laughing. They won’t be laughing when there floating fortress falls from the sky, I thought to myself. I silently snicker and one of the guards gives me a weird look and a shove.

We turned down another hallway and one of the pathetic guards opened a door. Inside the room was a glass cage.

“You don’t think that this pathetic glass cage can hold me!” I exclaimed to a man with an eye patch and dark clothing.

“Trust me this cage was built for something a lot worse than you!” he said bitterly.

I was then put into the cage, “If you even so much as scratch that glass you will drop at least 4,000 feet!” the man exclaimed with a bitter laugh.

“Trust me I will find a way out, besides do you think this is going to stop the chitari! Ha! In your dreams, at this very moment I have people getting the portal ready. I am meant to rule you!  You need someone to guide you pathetic midgaurdians! You don’t even know what REAL power is!” I hit my hand against the glass in anger, trying to get a reaction out of the man, but it doesn’t work.

 “Well let me know if “real” power wants a magazine or something” and with that the man walks away.

Jessica’s P.O.V

Later that night I walk to my room get undressed and go to bed. As I am trying to fall asleep I can’t get that person, what’s his name… LOKI, out of my head! (As you can see I have never really been good with names) I start pacing back and forth in my room, then without thinking I get dressed and went off looking for the room.

Within an hour I find the room and enter it. I find him sleeping on what looks to be a VERY uncomfortable bed table thing. I must admit for killing 80 people in two day he looks oddly cute as he sleeps.

“Not many people can sneak up on me as I sleep,” he said not bothering to open his eyes, “So your that person helping that green thing.”

I nod in agreement, “I just had to see you after what I have heard about you!”

“Well guess it hasn’t been very positive!” he puts the an evil smirk on his face.

“Not that much… but just talking to you, you seem almost… normal,” I say without hesitation.

“W..well, thank you but please leave!” he says through gritted teeth.

I walk back to my room thinking about almost sane we was but, he needs to work on taking compliments better! I laugh quietly to myself and head back to bed.

Loki’s P.O.V

After that girl left I tried to go back to sleep but, I just couldn’t. I couldn’t stop thinking about her golden curly hair, tall sleek body, and he sweet soothing voice. I quickly push those thoughts from my mid because there is no way that I could ever fall for a mortal…
