Lily and Maisie approached the rowdy group of young boys with Drift now on her lead which was being held by Maisie. When they reached Lulu, the boys had yet to notice their presence.
"Fuck sake, why do you always run off you little shit." Lily scolded the black and white dog whilst clipping her lead back on. A little chuckle interrupted the short-tempered girl.
"Cute dogs" An unknown voice said. Lily turned her head muttering and thank you. Her brown eyes inspected the dark haired boy. His hair was styled messily and reached mid forehead. A light stubble outlined his jaw line and a necklace hung loosely around his neck. He wore a dark grey, long sleeved top covered with a lighter grey t-shirt with fitted jeans and black, leather, lace up boots.
"Anyway, we'll be on our way." Maisie said as both girls started to walk away. She turned around pulling both Drift with her before Lily was sharply pulled back by Lulu.
"I don't think your dog wants to be on its way." A new voice called. Maisie turned around whilst Lily tugged on the lead, ignoring the comment. Maisie let out a small laugh and nodded her head in agreement. The boy who had previously spoken crouched next to the dog who's eyesight was fixed on the green and yellow football. Lily continued pulling in attempt to nudge the dog.
"Yep, defiantly not moving." Another unknown voice piped up. The rest of the boys began chuckling between themselves at Lily's failed attempt of leaving, Maisie also tried to hide her grin. A brown haired boy in a green hoodie noticed Lulu's fixation and decided to kick the ball in the complete opposite direction, making the dog chase after it, causing Lily stumble and let go of the lead. Lily huffed in response, looking in annoyance to the arrogant boy. The rest of the boys laughed at his actions and the now annoyed girls. Lily marched up to where Lulu was positioned, picked up the lead once more. She then picked up the ball making the black and white dog stand up ready to play once more. Lily walked back to the group, handed back the ball and attempted to leave again.
"Do it again Louis" the tanned boy shouted. This time, Louis kicked the ball at Lulu making her dive and pull Lily once more. Maisie rolled her eyes at the boys, muttering to herself in annoyance. Once again, the boys erupted in laughter. Now embarrassed, Lily looked at Maisie for help.
"Go on Lou, one more time" The same boy said.
"Nah, leave it now," The curly hair boy said as he approached Maisie and bent down to pet the dogs. "got some pretty cute dogs." He said standing up and smiling at both girls.
"Thanks. Now, like I said before, we'll be on our way." Maisie said turning around and beginning to walk away. Lily followed her, struggling to pull Lulu with her. The dog walked alongside her but kept her eyes on the ball.
