They're at the house, and at this point everyone's looking at each other awkwardly. Nyomi breaks the silence "So what really happened? I'm curious to know because my life's changed quite a bit since I last seen you. And unfortunately I have this crazy fuck trying to prostitute me however he can" She says "Okay well first things first I didn't give you up for drugs and that's the honest truth, I was on drugs really bad at the time and the child protective services stopped by but the one time they did I wasn't home, I should've been but I wasn't... I come back home and police is there, they told me that they would be giving full custody to a young guy who was about 20 years old at the time, it was very strange to me but I had no choice but to let you go. But as soon as I lost you Nyomi I got completely clean and I started searching non stop, then one day I get a call saying that the man that they gave guardianship to had took you and ran away. That's why you've been a missing person, but baby I never gave you up and I never stopped searching" Her mom says with tears rolling down her face "That's a relief I guess, well it's my turn right?... I've been a prostitute for over 2 years, not because I wanted to but because I had to. I've been beaten, raped, abused you name it, umm I got pregnant by Jason when I was 17 and had a babygirl, he made me give her up for adoption so I haven't seen her since. But thank God I met Jayla, she's been more then a blessing to me" Ny says tearing up. "Should I give y'all some time alone?" Jay says "No stay here" Ny says grabbing Jay's leg "This is very overwhelming for me, so I have a granddaughter?" She says "Yes you do, her name's Nala and she should be a little over 6 months now" Ny says frowning with her head down "Well why don't we find out where she's at?" She says "How?" Ny says looking up "We can do research, find out who she was given to when you had her, like your doctor records" she replies "Umm I didn't have her at a hospital, I had her in my room on the floor, then I spent an hour with her and Jason took her away.. and who knows where" Ny says sounding upset "I have some connects, you want her back then we gonna get her back. But first we gotta get out of here, Jason knows y'all are here so we gotta get y'all somewhere safe, I have some really good friends who wouldn't mind letting you guys stay with them. They have a really nice house with plenty of room" Jay replies "Are you coming too?" Ny says "Of course" Jay says with a smile.

They head over to Jay's friends house, Jane and Roxanne. They knock on the door and Roxanne opens it "Heyyy!! My name is Roxanne I'm one of Jay's dear friends, I've heard so much about you and I'm so glad to have you. Come on in baby lets get y'all settled in" She says grabbing Nyomi and Melony (her mom) in both arms walking them inside, Jay shakes her head laughing "That lady's crazy" she walks in shutting the door behind her. Jane sees Jay and tackles her "Oh my goodness I've missed you, why did you leave me with this nut" she says laughing "Keep on you won't get no more of this punani" Roxanne says walking away, "Man what you been up too?" Jane says "Nothing really met Nyomi a month or so ago and we've been friends every since" Jay replies "You like her don't you" Jane says with a smirk on her face "I mean yeah look at her" she says looking embarrassed "Awww bitch you getting soft" They laugh and start watching the game.
