Chapter 4

Sarah's POV

Looking at my feet that are encased in white flat sandals I wait for Nicholas to go on a tour of Rome The Eternal city as they call it.I was so excited and nervous at the same time.This is the first time I will be with my boss outside of a working enviroment.I guess that I am afraid of making a bad impression which will lead in him firing me.
I was brought out of my daze by the sound of footsteps.Looking up I saw Nicholas walking down the marble staircase.
He was so casual wearing jeans and a burgundy t-shirt and white sneackers.His hair was a bit messier than ussualy and he looked so hotter than a spicy dish on a hot summer day.

"Sorry you hac to wait for me  I had a buisness call to make.Are you ready to go?" he said

"Yeah I'm ready.If you don't mind asking sir where are we going exactly?"

"First of all call me Nicholas or Nick when we are not in the office.You don't have to be formal with me.And we are going on a tour of Rome and that is all I will tell you."He said with a mischevious smile.

We exited the villa and got in a sleek black car.And we headed towards the city.
Our first stop was the Colloseum
and then the Spanish Steps and Di Trevi fountain and I took a lot of photos some even with Nick.
After we grew tired Nick suggested to sit down for a coffee and some gelato.To which I happily agreed.

We started talking and I got to know a lot about him.Like the fact that he lived in Italy for a while and that his parents still live here most of the time.
He has an older sister and he actually started his buisness from scratch.
I was enjoying myself while listening to Nick tell jokes.At that moment we were interupted by someone standing beside our table.I looked up to see a beautiful woman in her early forties.
"Nicholas is that you my boy?"
"Aunt Lucia how are you?Such a nice surprise seeing you."
"Oh so rude of me I didn't say hello to this beautiful girl.Hi dear are you Nicks girlfriend?"

I looked at the woman totaly confused.But Nick piped in adn said"Yes she is my girlfriend.Auntie this is Sarah."

I said "Hi nice to meet you "
And then she hugfed me so hard I tought she will break my bones.
"You have to come to dinner tonight.Everybody will be there.The whole familia."
"Of course we will come.It's so nice to see you auntie.Bye."

I looked at him and he just said "Please pretend for tonight if you don't like me.I don't have to pretend because I do feel something for you.Would you be my girlfriend for real"

When I heard his confession I was awstruck.I can't belive he likes me.Because I am definitely smitten by him.
So I said "Yes I will be your girlfriend."

Then he kissed me so gently and skillfuly that I  melted in his arms.I felt so alive.Oh God what will happen with me and this man.

My life is now anything but boring.
