Kenya's POV
I woke up in Kendrick's room in his arms with his light snores filling the room ... I don't know how I got here but it sure does feel good. it's like he's my boyfriend and lord knows I haven't had a boyfriend since the beginning of college and that was what? four years ago? wow I've been so lonely and loveless and on top of that I'm a virgin ...yes imma 22 year old virgin and proud. a sudden knock on the door stopped my train of thought. I peeked over to Kendrick who was sound asleep and I didn't wanna wake him so I wiggled out of his arms and jogged downstairs to the door
Me- who is it?
just as I opened the door some woman spoke
???- Sequoia.. who are you
she was very pretty and dressed professional with her hair in a bun similar to how I dress for work but she had a serious attitude problem that needed to be checked
Me- no no no the real question is who the fuck is you
Sequoia- typical just typical where is Kendrick
Me- upstairs
Sequoia- what is your exact reason for being here
I smirked
Me- well Kendrick wanted me here so I came...yesterday
She smiled devilishly
Sequoia- oh so your a booty call
I laughed at her slick remark
Me- me sweetheart that's where your wrong see I'm wifey material not fuck and duck material...I think your mixing me and yourself up
she gave me a sour look
Sequoia- what ever your name is..
I nodded
Me- umhmm
Sequoia- imma need you to..
I cut her off
Me- oh I'm sorry it's Kenya btw
she froze then looked at me weird and opened her mouth like she was gonna say something but I spoke before she could
Me- you wait right here I'm gonna go and Kendrick for you
at that I jogged back up the stairs and shook Kendrick gently, softly calling his name and her slowly opened his eyes smiling
Kendrick- good morning Kenya
Me- good morning... uhh someone is downstairs to see you
I said the last part with an attitude and I guess he noticed cause his facial expression changed
Kendrick- okay tell'em I'll be down in a sec
he got up and went into the bathroom... I guess to brush his teeth and stuff. I grabbed my pack of gum and walked in his other bathroom to rinse out my mouth, I brushed my teeth with my finger then popped a piece of gum in my mouth and walked downstairs
Me- he's coming
with that said Kendrick walked downstairs and rolled his eyes at the sight of this "Sequoia"
Me- my exact reaction
he laughed a little pointed his attention towards her
Kendrick- yes?
Sequoia- yes what
I could tell she was annoying him
Kendrick- yesss I'm here!! What?!! what do you need!?! why are you here!?!
I giggled at his reaction to that dumb ass question even I knew what he meant
Sequoia- how about you show me some respect
Kendrick- Sequoiaaaa.... what.do.you.need??
Sequoia- I wanted to inform you that you have a concert at five then you have an appearance at 106&park at 6:30 then you have a another show at 8
he sighed and sat on the arm of the couch I was on
Kendrick- why didn't you tell me this earlier
Sequoia- who do you think you are and who the hell is this and why is she all up in our house in our business... what did I tell you about just bringing random hoes off the street home! they ain't no good and they don't want you! All they want is a little change in they pocket and a camera in they face..do you think if you weren't the "Kendrick Lamar" she would be here right now.
she totally ignored his question and flipped the subject to me and Kendrick looked at her like she was crazy
Kendrick- first of all last time I check I have no business with you and I payed for this house with my name Kendrick L. Duckworth on the mortgage not Sequoia Johnson. Second of all you don't tell me who the fuck I can bring in& out of MY HOUSE. third she is not no random hoe, and I didn't pick her up on the street I actually wanted her to come here unlike you and yes I do think she would be here with me if I wasn't famous. fourth you are NOBODY to think that you can boss me around! last time I check you are just an assistant and I hired you and I sign your paycheck not the other way around! as a matter of fact your fired!!
she looked like she was gonna beg and cry and Kendrick looked pissed so I decided to give them a moment alone... it was so cute how Kendrick stood up for me though:)
Me- umm Im going to get breakfast do you want anything Kendrick?
he looked at me and shook his head no...probably outta anger imma get him something anyways
Me- what about you Corolla.. I mean Sequoia
she gave me this mean look and I just laughed. as I was walking past Kendrick towards the door he grabbed my arm causing me to smirk then he softly pecked my lips and gave me a hug then whispered "your coming back right" I smiled and nodded the he smiled back "okay bye" he kissed me again but this time a little spicier let me put it like that haha
Me- bye Kendrick....see ya Sequoia
I left and went to Starbucks and got the same thing as yesterday when I got back Sequoia wasn't there surprise surprise and Kendrick was on the phone with his manager I think... I walked up some stairs and sat down listening to his conversation
"No that's not why I fired her "
'Kendrick.... over someone you just met...bloianfd'
*I understood some words the person was saying but others was a blur*
"I know but thats not why she was just being disrespectful "
'jdngjskfjdndng vnajajajaj sjfjsj whisk sjdj'
"okay... I know I know whatever bye"
he hung up the phone and I ran up the rest of the stairs to his room and plopped on his bed pretending to be on my phone he walked in and laughed
Kendrick- I heard yo loud ass run up the stairs
Me- I don't know what your talking about
he laughed again and placed his head in the crook of my neck
Kendrick-they said I need to find a new assistant
Me- I can help if you want
Kendrick- yes please
I giggled and he chuckled
Kendrick- aren't you an assistant?
Me- yup
Kendrick- then why don't you save us the pointless hassle and be my assistant
Me- me?? assist you?? I don't know I mean I'd have to quit my other job, and I wasn't even assisting like a famous person so it's probably different from what I do, and I'd have to travel, and....
he cut me off and looked me directly in the eyes, which made me feel weird
Kendrick- Kenya look I know it would be different and it may even be weird, and. that I don't know you that well but I really need you right now so please atleast think about it.. even if you just wanna work for me until I find someone permanent
I was quiet for like a min. thinking about it. I don't really like my job anyways and I get to be around him 24/7 and we can get to know each other
Me- okay
he smiled
Kendrick- you'll do it
I nodded
Me- permanent
his smile deepened and her grabbed me pulling me closer to him and kissed all over my face thanking my between kisses
I laughed
Me- your welcome
he kept kissing my face until he finally kissed my lips making out with me until I noticed I was ontop of him and his hands were exploring my body so I stopped and sat on his side causing him to sit up
Kendrick- whats wrong?
Me- nothing
Kendrick- are you sure
I nodded slowly
Kendrick- you know we don't have to have sex if you don't want to ma...
I smiled
Kendrick- besides we just met and ion wanna rush things...we hardly know each other
he smiled and kissed me then we cuddled up under the covers he was behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist and his head between my neck and my shoulder
Kendrick- Kenya
Me- hmm
Kendrick- will you go k out with me?? like on a date? Tonight at 9
I smiled then turned around to face him
Me- of course
he chuckled and kissed me softly
