Why does this always happen?

Its been hard without Jacob here. My world feels like its falling apart and there is no way to fix it. Jacob ignores my calls and texts and ive been seeing pictures of him and another girl and she doesnt look like just a fan. Its all complicated. Now that Jacobs gone Brandon and i have hung out more. Its fun to be hanging out with him but i dont want to take things to fast and let those feelings come out right away. I missed the way he used to try and scare me and make me laugh when he knows i need it the most. Jacob never really did that and the more im with Brandon i realize that. Speaking of Brandon he texted me.

Brandon😊: Heyyyyyy when you comin over??

Me: Um lets see when you get your grammar correct

Brandon😊: Wow Em

Me: You know im joking best friend

Brandon😊: I dont know about that

Me: Ill be over in 15 i have to get ready

Brandon😊: All you need to do is put on clothes i dont care about that makeup you know i will think your beautiful without it too

Me: Well as much as you are very flattering i still have to get ready we will talk later

Brandon😊: Fine "Best Friend" 

I couldnt top looking at what he said. Does he still like me? Is he trying to get me back? Well anyways i got dressed in a black shirt and a red flannel over it and some black jeans and the shoes i have that match Brandon. I curled my hair and put my purpose tour hat on. I ran out the door as i knew i was late. I got to the door and i was very out of breath. "Your late" Brandon said opening the door. "Sorry it took me a while to choose my outfit" "I like your hat" "I like it too" He smiled. "Now theres the Ema i know" I smiled looking down. "Hey Em you wanna talk?" "Sure" We went up to his room and i sat down. "Whats got you down Best Friend" I was trying to hold back the tears. "I think Jacob is cheating on me" It took me a while to get the words out but i finally told him. "Im so gonna tell him whats up he cant do that to you and get away with it" He pulled out his phone and got up. I stepped in front of him and didnt realize how close we were standing together. "No Brandon he doesnt know that i know" Brandon just looked at me. "When he gets back you cant stop me because your my best friend no matter what" "Thanks" I then leaned in and kissed him. He didnt pull away and neither did i. Then Ashton knocked on the door. "Brandon can i come in?" Brandon pulled away and he opened the door. "EM YOUR HERE!!!" He hugged me and i hugged him too. "Of course Ash" "What do you need Ashton" Brandon said. "Mom said she is going away for the weekend so its me and you and maybe Ema can stay" "Wheres Hunter?" I said. "Cameron Dallas invited him and Blake and Joey over for the week he isnt back until tomorrow" Brandon replied. "You know what Ash maybe i will stay" He was excited and went back downstairs. "I missed the way you kissed me" "Brando you know im still taken" "You dont have to be with him" "If he would answer my calls i wouldnt be" "Then you need to just tell him, dont wait until he answers" "Brando" "I know how you are, you dont like breaking peoples hearts but he deserves that and more but your my friend so iw ont do anything that could cause an argument between you too" I pulled Brandon in for a hug. "Thank you for always being there for me, i know we have gone through a lot but the more im with you i dont want to leave you and i know you never leave me" "I love you Em" "I love you more"
