Cameron's POV -
I opened the door & smiled.
"Daddy!" Kayden jumped in my arms.
"Hey lil man, what's up baby girl?" I said, giving Faithe a side hug.
"Hi Daddy."
"Hey." I said looking at my mom.
She smiled a little.
"You wanna come in?" I asked her.
"Nah, I gotta clean."
"Faithe, Kayden, go say hi to mommy." I sat Kayden down & they ran off.
"Look ma, I'm sorry." I grabbed her hands.
"Cameron, I took care of you since you were a baby, I bought you and London shit when you didn't have shit. When you couldn't take care of your daughter, I was here & you have the nerve to say I'm not your real mother? Last time I checked, your 'real' mother didn't do shit for you. I'm the one who took you in and loved you like my own."
"I'm sorry, Mom. I really am." I said as she began to tear up.
"You're disrespectful, Cameron. Go take care of your kids." She walked to her car.
I sighed and went in the house. I saw London come downstairs in a sundress.
"Hi Faithe." She hugged her.
"Hi."
London picked up Kayden and attacked his face with kisses. He laughed and squealed.
"You hungry?" I asked Faithe.
"Yes."
I turned around and she jumped on my back. I walked into the kitchen.
"What you want baby girl?" I smiled.
"I just want some Oreos." She smiled at me.
"Just some Oreos?" I looked in her hazel eyes.
"Yes." She giggled. I watched her dimples sink in.
I kissed her cheek and gave her some.
"Cammy, no." London said.
"What?"
"No cookies before dinner."
"I want some cookies!" Kayden yelled.
Faithe shoved them all in her mouth. I started laughing.
"Baby girl, you're gonna ruin your appetite." I said.
"Nuh uh, I'm still hungry." She said with a mouthful of cookies.
"What do you guys want?" London laughed, rubbing her stomach.
"Macaroni." Kayden looked at her.
"We can have whatever you want, baby." She kissed his cheek.
*
After the food was made we all sat down at the table and I cleared my throat.
"Daddy's going away for a few weeks." I just came out and said.
"Where are you going?"
"To show people my shoes."
"Do I get a pair Daddy?" Kayden asked me.
"You always do." I smiled, putting him into my lap.
He smiled and ate.
We began eating more when the doorbell rang.
