My name is Kiara Watson. Mom just told me that we are going to Mars tomorrow. Now that there is time travel, I don't know at what time that you're reading this, but going to Mars is like going on a small-scale vacation. Now, I'm not going to front with you; this is my first time going to Mars. All of my friends tell me that it is gorgeous besides The Dark Side. (My apologies to anybody born before the twenty-fifth century; the Dark Side is basically the place on Mars where we don't have any commercial centers.)
Now, dear reader, you may be wondering, Why does everybody want to go Mars?! Well, firstly, hello, person from beginning of time to 2377; secondly, there was a population crisis. Basically, circa 2129, we hit an all-time low in population. Because of the prior concerns of having a bustling population on Earth, the population was around five hundred million people. That was a nadir for the past hundred years, so people started reconstructing the population. Then, by 2430(three hundred and one years later), the population was twelve billion. Ergo, the government said that we needed to create a sustainable and healthy population, so, now, people are moving to Mars. Scientists have now been able to create artificial oxygen, so we can now go to any people and basically recreate it to be hospitable for humans. We have yet to find any foreign life, but we are anticipating some soon because we are approaching the boundaries of the Milky Way.
This is because in 2390, a man named Luther Caps resolved the cold fusion issue. Now, we can create heat at will easily.
(Hold on; before I proceed, I would like to address the people of the twenty-fourth and before centuries. Hello, don't freak out. This is amazing, so listen closely. In 2446, Herman Balewa discovered how to attain the speed of light with an every day vehicle.) This is how people can travel to Neptune, Uranus, and other planets that are quite far away from Earth.
Before I do anything else, I need to introduce you to my family. Firstly, there's my dad, who is the head of the R.S.P. (the Reach for the Stars Program). My mom is my greatest inspiration, and she has taught me everything. I am homeschooled, so we have spent mass amounts of time together. Also, she works part-time for Microsoft in its finances department. Although it may seem small, my family is great, and I couldn't wish for anybody more loving.
Well, it's almost time for me to depart from Earth. Goodbye, world.
