I was sitting on the slope, sitting by Amrid. She was so excited I could feel it radiating out of her, and I guess it rubbed off on me because I was practically shaking as the sun started to rise. Everyone just staring in awe of the beautiful light, but that didn't last for long.

  " OhmyGod!" Amrid gasped.

" What is it?" I asked frantically

She pointed to the sky and I knew exactly what she meant, there was a giant net closing over the sky. The vension net was closing. leaving everyone in the dark.

everyone was screaming things like, "WHAT THE HECK!" and "WHY DID YOU STINKING CLOSE THE SKY!". Including Amrid, but her words were a little....err....sketchier.

I was so confused, angry, and disappointed, that I almost started to cry, but thankfully I held it in. Grabbing Amrid by the arm i pulled her up to the observatory where Jared was, the head keeper. I demanded an answer.

" Jared! Give me my sun!" I pleaded. " You have no idea how long I've waited for this!" I steamed.

" I'm sorry Lily, but it was too close."

" Too close to friking what!" I blurted

" The sun was this much away from singeing all our hair off." he said making a small gesture with his fingers.

I almost exploded when all of the the other members of our so called "gang" popped in and started to scream and complain in aggravation. Jared explained what happened and it seemed we all grunted in sync.

"This just doesn't seem to make any sense." Jared admitted." for some reason the radiation levels were so high it was off the charts, so I had to close the net."

  " hmph." Jade groaned.

Jade can be so ugh sometimes it makes me want to throw up.

" Jade, you'd be bald right now if it wasn't for him." I retorted.

" yes, I know, I'm just look so pale, I mean, look at me!"

Jade and I ended up having a huge discussion about tan vs. bald, and knowing Jade, it turned into a argument, I looked around the room a few times and noticed everyone's face. Furrowed eyebrows all around me. Eventually I decided to stop so I wouldn't embarrass myself in front of Corey.

Oh Corey, my love, my hate, and everything in between. We've known each other since the 1st grade, and loved him since. He just sort of has this serene vibe to him. It makes you want to sit and stare at him for hours, and I have a guess he just started to take interest in me. Probably because I grew my hair out and dyed it, sigh. I just hope that's not the case.
