As I sat in my cold, metal chair I stared at Jared and Corey talk about scientific stuff that made no sense to me. And for some reason it just made Corey look so much sexier than usual. Jade looked over at me from her chair and caught me making dreamy eyes at him.
"Someone has a crush..." she whispered as she crept over to me.
"Oh shut up!" I squeaked out in embarrassment. "it's a love hate relationship!"
" Sure, and my name is Selena Gomez." She teased
My face turned a shade of red that I'm pretty sure isn't a color, and I stormed down the observatory stairs back into the crowd. I'd do anything to get away from that witch, and she calls me her friend.
I caught Amrid flirting with some cute guy by the lake at the corner of the valley. She looked like she was really enjoying herself, and soon enough we were both messing around with his goofy group of friends. We all got pretty bored so the boys suggested a swim.
"C'mon Amrid!" York persuaded "The water is amazing! I know you're craving it!"
"Umm no thanks, I'm better on dry..." She was cut off by all the guys picking her up by her arms and legs.
Heck no, I thought as I tried getting in front of their throwing point, but it didn't help as they swung her into the air. She landed in the water with a splash soaking everyone around us. I started to freak out making everyone put on their confused faces .
"Oh my gosh! someone help her! she can't swim! please!" I cried
Just then did people start to notice what was going on. Almost everyone dived into the lake at once, including York and the boys. It had been over ten minutes when Devin Boise rose from the water with Amrid slung over his shoulder, I rushed over and quickly gave her CPR.
"He-e-ey," She stammered "Did you
k-kiss m-me?"
"heh," I sniffed relived as I wrapped her up towel and guided her back to the heated observatory.
