There I sat, in the apartment no bigger than mine. The scent of the coffee drifted me away in thoughts of my ex-boyfriend who would have coffee served to me. However, it felt as if this coffee had more love in it than any coffee my ex had ever served me.

"Uh," the young man cleared his throat, "Taehyung. Kim Taehyung is the name." he said as he raised his hand to shake.

"I'm Kim Jisoo," I shook his hand. He held my hand for a little longer then an usual hand shake would be. He turned my hand around and rubbed his fingers against the bandage he placed on my palm.

"Does it still hurt?" he asked never looking away from my hand caressing it softly.

"Mhmm," I hummed as my heart slowly began to race. Why was it being like this? Why would my hand race for a stranger holding my hand? It was a new feeling. A feeling I never felt while with my ex-boyfriend. I snatched my hand away from him and held it close to me.

"I'll get going," I said tossing my bag over my shoulder. I was confused. What was this type of feeling? I'm not an easy girl to fall for someone that easily. I don't even believe in love at first sight! I walked toward the door and slipped on my converse.

"Thank you for taking care of me, but I'll be going now." I excused myself as I bowed to him before leaving.

*Taehyung's POV*

What did I just say? I'll make you coffee at my place? Where did these words come from? Why would I invite a girl to my place?

There I stood in line at a nearby café waiting to be served with thoughts of my weird neighbor floating in my head. I sighed as I stepped forward finally being served.

"What would you like to order?" the clerk asked me.

"I'll have the original." I told her as she wasn't new with my order.

"Are you having breakfast?" I heard a familiar voice behind me. I turned around only to see Jisoo. Her hair neatly tied in a ponytail with a few strands free from her forehead. Her shirt loosely flowing in the morning breeze as she tapped her converses on the cold floor.

"Uh, yeah." I answered flustered to see her.

"I'll have what he's having," she signaled the clerk as she turned around and naturally sat in the seat I usually sit every morning at.

I slowly walked over to her and sat opposite sides of her. She stared at her phone as she slowly turned to look at me. I immediately turned away looking down at my fingers.

Should I tell her? Should I not? What if she misunderstood me? What if I misunderstood her? What if I don't tell? But what if things get out of control after that? What if I-

"Here's your order," a waiter said cutting me off my train of thoughts.

"Thanks," I whispered before taking my egg sandwich.

"So this is what you have for breakfast? Different," she said before taking the first bite of her burger after putting her phone down.

We both ate for a while when my train of thoughts came back. I decided once and for all I should tell her.

"I-"

"I-"

We both said at the same time.

"Go ahead, what you have to say is probably more important anyways," she said before drinking her coffee.

"I just wanted to say," I began before clearing my throat, "I have a girlfriend."

I looked at her to see her reaction, but not much reaction came out of her. She put her coffee down and took a deep breath.
