~Phil's POV~
"DAAAAAAAAAAN!!!" My voice echoed off the walls of the flat. No answer. "DAN! COOME OOOON!!" I got up off the bed and opened the door. I walked to his room and knocked on the door.
"What? Damnit Phil, I was trying to sleep." He mumbled something unintelligible and started to take the blankets off. "I uh, I don't have any bottoms on. Please don't ask." I felt the heat creep into my cheeks.
"Oh uh yea, by the way, what do you want for breakfast? We can have pancakes." I said wriggling my eyebrows.
"Sure."
"You're too boring."
"And you're too happy."
"Touché" I closed his door chuckling as I walked into the kitchen. "WHERE'S MY APRON???" I yelled while shuffling through the cabinets.
"YOU HAVE AN APRON? SINCE WHEN?" He yelled back.
"It was a birthday present from you." I said, feeling a little hurt.
"Oh yea that's right." He walked into the kitchen wearing sweats and his cat shirt. He sat on the booth chair. "MAKE ME FOOD WOMAN." He screamed while pounding his fists on the counter top.
"What's the magic word?" I asked, batting my eyes, while he rolled his.
"I'm not gonna say it Phil." He crossed his arms.
"Then you can make your own dang pancakes."
"But I like your pancaaaaakes."
"Then say it."
"No."
"Fine." I turned around and started syruping my pancakes.
"Please."
"Excuse me, what did you say? Can you repeat it?" Dan hates it when I do this.
"Seriously? Phil you're so lame. You know what? I'm not hungry." He got up and walked over to the couch, then flopped down. I sighed.
"Dan?" I felt guilty. Dan always feels like crap in the morning. Especially Mondays. He probably doesn't need this. "I uh, I found my apron." I walked over to the couch and poked his side. Small shift. I knelt down and blew on his neck.
"Stop." His voice sounding muffled through the cushions. I tickled his neck, which sent him into convulsions. "PHIL! NO STOPPIT!!!" He yelled batting my fingers away. I proceeded to tickle him. He swept my feet from under me with his hands and I fell forward onto the couch.
~Dan's POV~
Phil fell right onto me. It's a strange feeling having your best friend pressed against you from behind. "Get off me! Ouch, you're so fat!"
"You have a comfy back. You should be a back pillow." Phil went on, as if he hasn't heard what I just said.
"Phil, seriously." I flipped onto my back in an attempt to get him off me, thus coming into close proximity with his face. I felt his breath hitch."Phil. I would very much appreciate it if you removed your body from mine, for it is making me completely and utterly uncomfortable."
"Jeez Dan, I was just playing. Why'd you have to make it all weird." He sounded like a child, and he sure did look like one too, pouting like that. But as he sat there on the floor with his arms crossed, I had those same thoughts I'd been having for the past few months. The unexplainable ones. I felt my expression soften, and all I could do was think about Phil's perfect black hair, and impossibly gorgeous blue eyes. He had already stopped pouting and had moved on to playing Crash Bandicoot. I sighed quietly and went to the kitchen to steal some pancakes.
