(Hi everyone, probably super late but I just wanted to add that there may be a few trigger warnings. There are mentions of previous self harm/mental health issues that may upset some people, but they are just mentions and do not take action in the story.)
Luke's POV:
Well here I am, at my new school. St. Alltonway. It was really clean and filled with green hedges cut really neatly. I felt a little as though I wasn't good enough to be here, but I'm here to improve my grades and hopefully get smarter. "Goodbye my pumpkin!" My mum said as she quickly dabbed my cheek with a kiss. I lowkey felt embarrassed because it was in front of other students, but luckily I don't think any of them saw us inside the car. She then hugged me. "I'm going to miss you!" "And I'm going to miss you too, mum." I said hugging back. "Now remember what I told you, if you're going to have sex make sure you use protection!" She said tweaking my cheek. I felt embarrassed AS FUCK. "Muummm I know, I know! You tell me this every time I go out!" I whined as I rolled my eyes. "I just want to make sure! And also make sure she enjoys it just as much as you. Make it fair!" She replied. I wish she'd shut up. "Um...well I doubt this will happen." "What won't happen? You won't get some? You never know these days Luke!" The smiley blonde woman said to me. I looked at her in a 'please stop' manner, hoping she would shut up. I think she got the idea. "Anyways...I have to get back. I love you! Have fun and you have mummy's number if you need me" she said as she kissed my head. I guess I'm used to being a mummy's boy. "I love you too" I got out of the car as I spoke and poked my head in the window "now please go I don't want you to be late." She smiled as I walked away and began to drive away. I made my way up to my dorm room 'room 182'Calum's POV:
My mum parked up on the driveway of the new school. She looked at me in a proud manner, which is weird because I'm not used to my parents looking at me in a 'proud' way because of how much trouble I'm always in. "Sooo, you ready Cal?" "I'm nervous but hell ya!" I replied with sarcastic enthusiasm. I hate school. Of course I'm not looking forward to it. Her smile turned into a motherly frown. "Remember, no misbehaving." I giggled mischievously. "Me? Misbehave? Pffffftt never!" She frowned even more. "You're not fooling me, Calum Thomas Hood. I know it all!" "What have I done that's so bad?" I sighed as she dramatically put her finger to her chin. "Well first you sell alcohol at school, you always play pranks on teachers, you never show up to classes or detentions, need I go on?" She sarcastically tormented me. "Mum that was ages ago!" "It was two weeks ago!" Her frown grew stronger and stronger. "Well...Im not at that shitty school anymore. I have to go now. I love you and I'll call you tomorrow" I said as I began to get out of the car. "I love you too, bye Calum!" She rolled up the window and started the engine as I watched her drive off. After walking up a fuckload of stairs, I finally found my dorm room. Room 182. I knocked on the door as a tall blonde boy with a silver lip ring opened the door. He was hot...and I mean H to the O to the fucking T. "oH...hi" he smiled awkwardly. I smiled back. "Hi...do I have the right room? 182?" "Yes...yes.." he opened the door for me. I could tell he was a pretty socially awkward guy. "Thanks, well I guess we're roommates. I'm Calum" I held my hand out to shake his, and he awkwardly shakes back. "Hi, I'm Luke." He replied. I smiled and looked around the room. It was medium sized with 2 large single beds, a desk, 2 chests of drawers and a TV. It was quite nice...but I doubt I'd be able to keep it clean knowing what a slob I am. I walked up to the window to take a look of the view. "Well...this place is much nicer than the schools I've been to in the past" I said to Luke, trying to make conversation so he felt less awkward. "What do you mean?" "The last schools I've been to haven't been so clean." I replied looking out still. "oH...that's a pity" the tall boy said quietly. I turned around. "What was your other school like?" "Well...clean.." he replied. I giggled. "Lucky you. I've been to seven other schools in the past." Which fiveI got kicked out of but I didn't want to mention so soon. "oH damn...I've only been to two" he sat on his bed. "Why been to so many?" He asked. "I got kicked or of them...for playing pranks on the teachers." He looked confused AF. "Pranks? That's it?" "Yeah but teachers have always hated me. Like I'm a nice guy but I defend myself when teachers talk down to me" I started to unpack and lay my things down on my bed. "oH...right.." he said not so sure about me. "So...what's your story Luke?" I said politely. "You've known me less that five minutes." I rolled my eyes at his attitude. "We're going to be living together so we may as well become buddies. Unless you get a bad vibe from me like most people" I said bluntly. "No, no. I don't get a bad vibe" he also unpacked his stuff. "You sure? I don't mind if you do because I'm used to it bruh." I replied with a nicer tone. I could tell for a fact he felt that I gave him a bad vibe. "Okay first of all I am sure, second of all I'm not a bruh." Mentally, my jaw dropped at his sassiness. I raised my arms up with my palms faced forwards. "Alright...relax..." I said as I started puffing my pillows to get them more comfortable. "I am relaxed" he replied. I tried to avoid things getting more awkward, so I decided to just put my earphones in and play Green Day as I lay down. I then found myself accidentally dropping to sleep.
