I woke up to the familiar sound of my ringtone. Wait- I slept? (M: Mum)
E: Hello?
M: Morning love! We're on our way
E: O-On your way?
M: Yep! Be there in 10 minutes! ((Random address)) right?
E: Yeah...
M: Alright. Bye love!
E: Bye.. *Hang up*

Shiit. Shit. Shit. I rolled out of bed and skidded along the wooden floor. "Excuse me Penny!" I cried as I passed the little black and white French bulldog and glided down the stairs. "Brendon?" I asked, letting my voice echo around the house. "Yeah?" I heard. "They're on their way!" I heard footsteps from the kitchen come into the living room where I was standing with the dogs by my feet. "Now?!" I nodded. "Are there little kids?" He asked. "Kind of. One is 5 the other is 10." He clapped his hands. "Yay! We can play!" "You'd blend in!" I smiled. "You would not believe how much stuff I have in the garage." I giggled then raced back upstairs. "Can I use your hairbrush!?" I shouted. "If you don't have lice!" I took out my ponytail and brushed through my hair then left it down. Makeup? Nahh. It's just family. As I walked down the long flight of stairs I heard the doorbell ring. "I'll get it!" I said as I ran up to the door and opened it. "Hey!" I smiled. "Who's your boyfriend?" My dad's eyebrows wiggled as I let them in. "Very funny!" I rolled my eyes. "DOGGIES!" The kids shouted in unison. "He must be rich." My mother added. "You could say that. I guess. At least he's rich for an actual reason." "What are the doggies called?" A sweet, quiet voice piped up. "Well Rach, that light brown/ ginger and white one is called Bogart and the black and white one is Penny Lane." I smiled. "Where's your boyfriend?" Charlie hummed. "Very funny Charlie. Actually- Where is he? I'll be right back." I stood up from my seat on the floor and went to the backdoor. "Brendon? Brendon? Beebo? Breaaadbiiinnn???" I called. "I'm in here." A voice called from the garage. "They wanna meet you!" "Alright come and give me a hand." I opened the door to the dimly lit room where Brendon was pulling out different toys from boxes. "You weren't kidding!" I muttered. "What do they like?" "Uhh.. Rachel likes dogs and Charlie likes electronic scooters and stuff like that. "Hmm...Aha!" He pulled out a big stuffed dog and threw it at me then grabbed a huge electronic scooter. "How do you have all this stuff?" I was shocked. "I'm a huge kid. I have things that I don't even need. Let's go." He beckoned me out as he kicked the door shut behind him. I held the giant dog behind my back and opened the door. "Oh look who decided to show up!" Charlie commented. "You're a cheeky one." Brendon laughed. "We have a lot in common. "Hey Rachel?" She turned around as I threw the giant plush toy at her. "BIG DOGGY!!" I smirked. "Charlie?" His face lit up as he noticed the scooter Brendon was holding. His eyebrows wiggled. "You guys can go play outside with the dogs and your new toys." He smiled and reopened the door allowing them to slide through.
