What...?

Right when I steeped into the house, Lucinda ran towards we checking if I was okay. I reassured her I was fine. To be honest the first thing I did was go to the fridge. As an athlete I had one of the most biggest appetites. I grabbed salad, a burger, chicken strips, and ketchup. I LOVE KETCHUP. I grabbed my meal and headed to my room, right when I got in I flopped on my bed and turned on my t.v. Yup I have a tv in my room. I was spoiled in some ways, but hardly.

I flipped through news channels like rapid fire. Then I stopped on a news channel.

"Today we have a very luring story. A unique moving circular object, had been found inside a forest called "Forest Lahome in Orlando, Florida"

Wait? What?! I was just there with Ryan. I stuffed my face with fries, rushing to eat.

"Scientists say its a portal to a different realm, honestly isn't that hilarious?" The news reporter snickered

I rushed to devour my food, so I could go check it out. When I finally finished I rushed downstairs and told my mom I was going to the forest.

"Geez child, you have a problem with nature" Lucinda mumbled. I smiled I loved Lucinda so much, I'm so grateful to have her.

I put on my brown combat boots with my green jock jacket. I ran towards the forest. My mind was racing with millions of questions. How does it look like? Is it how it looks in cartoons?

Is Ryan going to be there?

Why was I thinking of him anyway, I never really cared much about guys.

When I reached there I had a gut instinct to go towards the little abandoned home. I sprinted, I loved having the wind in my face.

When I got there I saw a figure. Sure enough when he turned it was Ryan. Ryan. Ryan. Ugh.

"Hey Scarlett" Ryan smiled. I loved his smile.

"Yo." I replied calmly. I looked down near his shoes. I saw it. My eye pupil's turned huge. I gapped at it. It was every colour you could imagine and even other colours no one has ever see before.

"Scarlett, you know your not normal, neither am I" his eyes pierced through me.

"Then what....?" I stuttered

"We're half immortal."
