this is the first book of the series and it takes place during Chamber of Secrets. don't worry everything gets explained later on... also for those who haven't heard the description this is a Harry Potter x oc story. So yeah, the main love interest/endgame is Harry Potter. however, that doesn't mean that Nyx won't have other short-lived romances (tiny spoiler there).
N O T E
some people might not like it but let me just lay this out here... Nyx is a Gryffindor, it says so in the description. there are some people who've commented that fics always have their characters in Gryffindor so I don't know if I'm just reading the wrong fics but for me, I always see Slytherins...
anyway, I tried to write Nyx sort of like the trio in that sense. like how people can argue that Hermione should have been in Ravenclaw, Harry in Slytherin, and Ron in Hufflepuff but they all ended up in Gryffindor because of the potential for the bravery and chivalry they had inside. it's the same thing for Nyx.
so for those who are tired of seeing Gryffindor representation, I'm sorry. but I do hope you still give this story a chance, and if you like it stick around <3
