This is only my second story so tell me what you think and what I should work on :}
"No, I'm not going to the party ok? Happy?" I said to my older brother Maurisio, he's 18 and a freshman in college. He goes to a college near by so he can look after me. He's kind of over protective ever since the "incident".
We never talk about it but it's not forgotten, trust me.
This time the argument is over a party I wanted to go to. I'm a 16 year old girl and I want to go to a party. Why is that so crazy?
Maurisio says, " Why would you want to go to a party? You could get hurt. Someone could hurt you. You of all people should know what kind of people there are out there." and I said " Ugh why do you always have to bring it back to that? Whatever I'm not going so it doesn't matter. You can leave now."
He finally left and I layed down to gather myself and get my thoughts together. It's a Sunday anyways so I'll stay home even though i really wanted to go..
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
My alarm was going off and i hit the snooze on the thing. I over sleep for ten minutes and Maurisio's in here shaking me to wake up.
You see, Maurisio comes over my house on the school days to help me get ready and give me a ride if i need one. I got the house as part of the inheritance. With the job my parents both had they left me and Maurisio both with a lot of money. I got the house because Maurisio is in college and all now so yeah.
I got up and he said "Get dressed and eat so we can leave". I said " Ok i will you can go. I have a ride and everything bye I love you". He said "You're sure you'll be ok?" I said "yessssss now leave be good be safe"
He said who's taking you? A guy.? What's his name?"
It's a good close friend HER name is .. Hannah. Alright? Now go pwease" I said, lying through my teeth
He answered "Well just remind your friend Hannah if anything happens to you..." "I know I know by bye now" I interupted.
He finally left the house and drove back to his apartment
Maurisio is actually very mature and responsible for his age, well that's what I think. He has to take care of me so he almost has a parental responsibility.
I jumped into the shower and when I came out I saw Bryson outside of my balcony door knocking. I only had on a towel, I felt so awkward, but I opened the door and made sure to turn off the house's alarm system (Maurisio's idea)
