Next day morning when Sanyukta woke up with a heavy head she could see the hustle bustle in the hostel. She went down to see the matter when she saw all the students gathered near the entrance of girls hostel along with some of the faculty members.She couldn't understand anything until she spotted Priyali nearby and dragged her aside to ask her the matter.

"Priyali ye sab kya ho raha he?"

"Tumhe nahi pata Meher? Kal raat se tumse jhagde ke baad Ragini gayab thi aur mil nahi rahi thi.Aur aabhi uski laash mili hain"

"WTF?"

Sanyukta asided everyone and moved to the front just to see police checking Ragini's body and from that she could get the point that she was strangled to death and thrown from a great height. Just when she was examining the body by standing at a distance a policeman approached her and told her to come with them. All were shocked as to why police was taking Sanyukta with them. Even Ishika and Priyali tried to defend her but the police didn't hear to any of their pleas.On the other side Randhir was waiting for Sanyukta so that he could just see her face after he saw her crying last night but he grew tensed when he saw Priyali and Ishika entering without Sanyukta. He was just going to ask them about her whereabouts when he heard two boys saying:

B1-Yaakin nahi ho raha hai ki Meher jaisi ladki bhi esa kuch kar sakti hain.

B2-Haan yaar. Jo jesa dikhata hain sakal se wo hota nahi hain.

Randhir rushed to the boys and held one of them by the collar.

R-Oye kya bola tu Meher ke bare me?

B1-Rajat Paaji hum to kuch bhi nahi bole. Wo to Meher ko subah subah police pakad ke le gayi to humne jo sunna wahi kaha.'

R-Meher?Police?Kyu?Kese?

B2-Wo sab to hume pata nahi hume. Bus sunne main aya hain ki Meher is suspected of Ragini's murder.

These words hit Randhir hard.It was like a blow in his stomach.He immediately rushed to Ishika to know the whole story. When Ishika told him the whole story he was shocked beyond words. Randhir couldn't believe that Sanyukta had warned Ragini and also vowed to kill her. His Sanyukta was never like this. She can never even think of slapping someone let alone killing them. But then he understood their separation had changed her and it was definately not for her good. Although Randhir convinced his heart that Sanyukta can not do so but her last night actions and vurnebility and her past few weeks behavior was taking a toll on him.He was not himself sure of this version of Sanyukta. Discarding all his thoughts he first decided to rush to the police station to see the matter. But before he could go out he saw Sanyukta entering the class. On seeing Sanyukta hustle bustle started in the class but she ignored it and went and sat with Ishika.Randhir was sitting just behind them. Randhir urged Ishika to ask her everything.

Ishika-Umm Meher u okay?

S-Yaa I am okay. It's just that head is aching a little bit else I am okay.

Ishika-kya hua police station me Meher?Wo tumhe kyu leker gaye the?

S-Are nothing serious. It's just that Aster told them I had a fight with Ragini and even vowed to kill her. Aur mera pendant bhi uske room me gira tha so they just wanted to crosscheck.

Ishika-Ohhhh. It's okay Meher. Just ignore everything. I trust u aur koi tumhe kuch bole just tell me. I will break his/her face. Bus naam bata dena.

S-Yaa yaa sure why not. After all u are my bodyguard.

With this she laughed a little and Randhir's heart heaved a relief seeing that smile. Now he was sure that someone was trying to frame Sanyukta and he needed to find it out ASAP.
