Summary: Wardington High, Runo and Alice's school, will have a fieldtrip on Bayview of all places. It has been a year since they last saw the other brawlers. But it seems that Runo still holds a grudge on Dan. Will she ever forgive him? Stay stunned to find out.

Chapter 5: Lights! Camera! Action!

DAN'S POV

I bet she will make this a bit personal. I just gulped at the realization.

"Ok then, Lights! Camera! Action!" Mrs. Vint.

She stepped an arm length closer to me. Then glared at me. I just gulped.

"HOW COULD U? I THOUGHT WE WERE BESTFRIEND! BUT U JUST DITCHED ME!" She shouted at me.

"Runo, I just.." I wasn't finish with my sentence.

"JUST WHAT? YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME IF U DON'T WANT ME AROUND." She shouted again.

"Its not like that, Runo." I said.

"THEN WHY? I WAS WORRIED SICK ABOUT U." She shouted again.

"Look, I'm sorry." I snapped back.

"Sorry? That's all what u can say? U left me without saying a word. Then u came back when I totally had a chance to move on." She said more calmly now.

She is in the verge of crying. I don't know why but I really want to hug her at that moment.

"I just wanted u to be safe." I said

"Me? Safe? I got kidnapped just to get to u." She snapped back.

"Runo, I'm really really sorry. I shouldn't have ditched u to go to New Vestroia. I know that u also want to go their really badly because they also got Tigrera. But I really got scared that I might lose u. I can't forgive myself if that ever happened" I said truthfully.

"Then, u should have told me. I'll completely understand if u told that." She said now tears falling from her eyes.

I really can't stop myself. I hugged her. And she hugged me back. I really missed her. I was really happy that moment when suddenly someone squealed ruining our moment. We both looked where the noise was coming from to see Julie standing holding her phone.

"I FINALLY HAVE A PICTURE OF BOTH OF U HUGGING EACH OTHER. AWW, YOU BOTH REALLY LOOK LIKE A CUTE COUPLE. I'M TOTALLY GONNA SHARE THIS PICTURE ON FACEBOOK, TWITTER AND INSTAGRAM." She said excitedly.

We looked at each other blushing then turning the other way.

"Sorry Runo, but I gotta agree with Julie. U too look really cute." Alice said.

"See what I mean?" Julie stated.

"Runo, I know that u hate Dan because he ditched u. But I know that u have a soft side specially with Dan around." Alice stated.

"I do not! And JULIE GIVE ME YOUR PHONE!"Runo shouted and ran after Julie.

"Sorry Runo, but I already shared the photo. And u can't stop it from spreading." Julie said.

"JULIE! HOW COULD U? I'M GONNA KILL U." Runo shouted.

Before she can kill Julie, Shun and I hold her arms to prevent her from killing Julie.

After a while, she calmed down. We let her down.

Mrs. Vint approached us.

"All of u go to the stage." She said.

We all gulped.

'We're doomed' we all thought

We went to the stage.

"I got to say, Runo and Dan, u both did a great job earlier. I almost cried on your scene." She said with a smile.

"Thank u, ma'am" she said.

"And now, care to explain what's happening?" Mrs. Vint said.

"Well u see, Runo and Alice was part the Original Battle Brawlers." I said.

We saw everyone's jaw dropped and eyes widen.

"Runo Misaki is the original Haos Brawler while Alice Gehabich is the original Darkus Brawler." Marucho added.

"Oh, I see now. Well that explains why the two of u are comfortable with each other." Mrs. Vint said with a smirk.

I just blushed at the thought.

"Well, its already lunch break so u all can go now." Mrs. Vint said.

With that, everyone left the theater room. Me and the brawlers with Runo and Alice went to the cafeteria to have Lunch. When we reached there, we sat on an empty table. I sat on the left side, Shun and Marucho was sitting beside me. Runo sat across me while Julie and Alice was sitting beside her.

"Aww, Runo and Alice. I missed u both." Julie said while giving them a bone crashing hug.

"Can't...bre...ath.." They both said.

We just chuckled.

"Opps, sorry. Hehe." She apoligized.

"U both changed so much in a year. Specially u Runo." Shun said.

"How can u say that?" Runo asked.

"Because of the scene ealier. The once sweet Alice is giving a death glare while the once stubborn Runo is now protecting someone." Julie rolled her eyes.

"And what was that suppose to mean?" Runo asked with a very sweet smile.

Julie almost spit out her juice while me, Marucho and Shun's jaw dropped and eyes widen.

"Is the world gonna end? The once boyish Runo is now giving a very sweet smile!" I said sarcastly.

She just playfully punched my arm and smiled.

"Hey!" I said.

She just gave me an angelic smile.

I just blushed lightly. Luckily no one saw it. She looks beautiful when she smiles like that. It suits her better.

My thoughts were interrupted by Julie.

"So, Runo. What's with the sudden change of heart? U dating someone?" Julie said teasingly.

She blushed.

I felt a little pain inside. Am I too late? Is she already inlove with someone else?
