Chapter 4: The Scene

Summary: Wardington High, Runo and Alice's school, will have a fieldtrip on Bayview of all places. It has been a year since they last saw the other brawlers. But it seems that Runo still holds a grudge on Dan. Will she ever forgive him? Stay stunned to find out.

Chapter 4: The Scene

RUNO'S POV

We saw the popular girls bullying a nerd girl. I looked at Alice and we both nodded. We walked to them slowly.

"Ha, you're such a nerd." Cheska stated.

"Like yeah."Janet added.

They were about to push the poor girl when we stand infront of her.

"Aren't u ashamed of yourself?" I asked them.

"Bullying a poor girl?" Alice added.

We heard gasped from behind us. We saw the other students jaw dropped and wide eyed.

"This is not your bussiness, so get out of our way!" Scarlet said with a glare.

"And what if I don't?" I glared back.

I saw her stepped back.

"What's the problem? Can't handle a glare?" Alice asked her while smirking.

"Oh please, your just some useless and pathetic girls. Who's just being a hero." Veronica snapped back.

"You girls are the useless and pathetic ones. Taking someone's weakness as your advantages to be more popular." I said with a glare.

"How dare u!"

Veronica was about to slap me but I stopped her.

"Don't you dare. We can protect ourselves." I said glaing at her.

I can see in her eyes that she and the other girls was scared.

"We'll get our revenge on both of u. Remember that." Janet said.

With that, they left the cafeteria.

We turned to the nerd girl.

"Thank u so much. And sorry for the trouble I made." She said

"Don't mention it. We were really sick of them anyway." Alice said.

We helped her with her stuffs.

"Thank u again. But I have to go now." She said and left us.

When she left. We heard clapping. We turned our heads to see that everyone was watching us. They were clapping and telling us positive comments. We just smiled at them and exited the cafeteria not knowing that a group of students were watching tus. They were stunned.

DAN'S POV

We were just eating at the cafeteria when we heard some laughing. We turned our heads to see that a group of girls where bullying a girl. We were about to help her when suddenly two girls stood in front of the poor girl. My eyes widened in in the realization. It was Alice and Runo.

I looked at my friends and saw that they were at the same state as me. We watched the whole scene. And we were shocked. The once sweet and kind Alice is now giving a death glare to the group of girls. And also the stubborn and boyish Runo is now protecting someone and wearing a girly outfit. I blushed at the thought.

I was about to barge in there fight when I saw one of the girls about to slap Runo but was stop by Shun. I turned my gaze back to Runo to see that she is holding the girls wrist to prevent her from slapping her and gave her a glare. With that, the group of girls left. And not long enough, Runo and Alice also left the cafeteria leaving us completely confused. How did they changed so much over the year? My train of thoughts were interrupted by the bell. We stood from our seats and headed to our next class which is Drama class.

NORMAL POV

When Dan and the others entered the theater room, they were shocked. Runo and Alice was also their.  They sat on empty chairs a couple of chairs away from them. Not long enough,  Runo noticed them. Her eyes widened. Luckily they weren't looking that time. She turned her gaze to Alice.

"Alice, there here." Runo whispered to her.

She looked around and saw them. Her eyes widened.

"What are we gonna do?" Alice asked her.

"We can't leave because we have class, so we don't have a choice but to stay." Runo said with a sigh.

Runo looked around to see that the popular girls was also their. When they notice her, they just give her a glare. Runo just glared back.

Not long enough, the teacher entered the theater room. She stood on stage and introduce herself.

"Hi everyone. My name is Mrs. Vint. I'll be your Drama teacher for a while." She said with a smile.

She has black hair in a bun and has green eyes. She is wearing a yelow top and orange office skirt. She also wears glasses.

"To start of our class, let's have a little acting portion. Hmm, let's see." She said while eyeing a paper in her hands.

"Ok. Please come on stage Dan Kuso and umm, Runo Misaki." She said.

Runo almost fell of her seat.

'Why is it have to me?' She thought.

She slowly walked to the stage and so did Dan. When they where there. Mrs. Vint explained their scene.

"Your scene is like this. The two of u threat each other like special friends. But Dan ditched Runo because she wanted her to be safe and he feels that she isn't whenever he is near her. Dan came back a year later to explain everything to her. Am I clear?" Mrs. Vint said.

"Totally" Runo said with a smirk.

Dan just gulped when he saw her smirk.

"Ok then. Lights, camera, action." Mrs. Vint said.
