I was working on trying out for the softball team at my highschool, so I'm glad to say I made JV. I will update as often as I can.

The death of Ned Stark spread fast. The new King Joffrey finally called for his head.

Robb Stark was taking it hard, though. As any young boy who just lost their father would. Lady Catelyn walked through the Stark camp, as each man bowed their heads in respect. She reaches the woods, and collapses against a tree out of breath. Then she hears something.

The sound of a sword striking wood, and yelling. She assumed it was her son. She approached further, and did find her son Robb striking his sword against a tree.

"Robb." she says, but he doesn't hear her. "Robb!" she yells a second time, as he finally looks at her. Crying.

"You've ruined your sword." she says, as he drops it finally. And as any mother would, she consoled her son.

"I'll kill them. I'll kill them all." Robb swears to his mother.

"Oh, my dear boy." she says. "They have your sisters. We have to get them back. And then we will kill them all."

They stayed for a moment, then Lady Stark spoke once more.

"You might need to find Evelyn." she tells Robb. "She ran off once she was told."

Robb did find her, just as the sun set. He found her not far from the camp. She stood next to her horse, leaning against it.

"Eve!" Robb called to his sister, but she did not turn. He then walked with his horse closer and called again.

She turned, as the two stared at each other. He then joined her side.

"Everything turned in such little time." she spoke. "A loyal man's death - witnessed by thousands. Beheaded for all to see and named treasonous."

He looked towards his sister, who he saw was crying now.

"It's not how a loyal man should die." she says, as her brother hugs her. She accepts it now.

"We need to go back." he says finally. "Father may be gone - but this war is far from over."

-Evelyn-

Later that night, I was surrounded by Stark men at a table in the torchlight. I sat next to Lady Stark, as Robb sat in front of us as one of the men spoke.

"The course is clear- march and pledge fidelity to Renly and join our forces with his." the man spoke.

"Renly is not the king." Robb speaks.

"You cannor mean to hold to Joffrey, after he put your father to death?" the man says in reply.

"Renly is Roberts youngest brother. If Bran cannot be Lord of Winterfell before me Renly can't go before Stannis." Robb says to the man now.

"Do you mean to declare us for Stannis?" the man says again, as many men start talking among themselves.

"My lords. My lords!" Lord Glover stands. "Here's what I have to say to these two kinds." Lord Glover spits, as quite a few nod in approval. "Renly means nothing to me, nor Stannis. Why should they rule over me and mine on some flowery seat in the South? We should rule over ourselves again. It was the dragons we worshipped, and now they are dead. There-" Lord Glover draws his sword, and points it towards Robb. He leans back in surprise. "Sits the only kind I mean to bow my knee to. The King in the North!"

He knees, and holds onto his sword for Robb. Then another man stands, and pledges his sword as well. Then stood Theon.

"Am I your brother, now and always?" Theon asks Robb.

"Now and always." Robb nods, as Theon draws his sword and does the same. Then I stood, as Lady Stark looked up at me. Robb looked.

"Will I always have a place by your side, fighting for what we believed in when this war started?" I ask him, as he nods. "The King in the North."

"The King in the North! The King in the North!"
