As I walked through the crowd, I smelled... FOOOOOD! Although my work is very strict, I should at least eat something. I ran to the stall where they cooked kebabs; chicken, pork, beef, and vegetables. I ordered, with seriousness, some kebabs and orange juice (My favorite) and thought that the seriousness will stay while eating, but I ate like a monster.
While eating, BAM! "What's up?" Charlie said with a calming voice. *cough cough*," What was that for?!" He laughed, and we started having a conversation. We talked but I have noticed again the fake face, I observed every little thing he does, to the point that he might get uncomfortable. Is he hiding something from me? Is there something I don't know? Then I asked," Where's the mayor of this village?" Charlie smiled," I'll give you another tour then"
We walked together and stopped infront of a building. "Well, this is it... See ya ^-^" He ran off with the other kids. I smiled, thinking that maybe, just maybe, it's not fake at all. I shook my head, getting back to reality, and stepped inside. Inside, it was neatly decorated with wood furniture, walls painted with a peachy color, a waiting room and a counter with a lady behind. I walked to the counter and asked the lady," May I have a word to the mayor? I'm new to town so I wanted to say hello (and interogate)" She welcomed me and showed me the room where I can find the mayor.
I slowly walked to the red-painted door, then I heard someone, as they work... Whistling. I... Heard that before... Why does it sound so familiar?... Then I remembered...
