Until The End

"Babe, wake up."

"No. I'm comfy here."

"Get up, you lazy butt."

She laughed and nudged me.

"Let's cuddle longer."

"You need to get up or you'll be late for work."

She nudged harder and rolled out of bed.
"I'll make you breakfast if you get up now..."

"Are you going to make bacon?"

"Of course."

I guess that was my cue to get up and get ready for work.
I sat up and rubbed my eyes.
Meanwhile, my wife had gotten up to open the curtains next to my side of the bed. I smacked her ass playfully.

"Okay, mister. Be ready in 20 minutes."
She left the room and went to the kitchen.

I got up and headed straight for the bathroom.
I shaved my scruff and washed my face. I jumped in the shower for a quick scrub.
I left the shower, drying off, heading for the closet. I picked out my Monday suit, selected by my wife, slipped it on and started searching for my shoes.
I found them at last and slipped them on.
I grabbed my tie and quickly tied it around my neck, grabbed my briefcase and started heading towards the kitchen.

"Mmm, smells good."
"It'll be ready in a few minutes."
"Sweet."
"Is that the new cologne I bought you?"
"Yes it is."
"You smell delicious, babe. We might have to get frisky tonight." She laughed.
"I can't help but love you, baby."
She glanced at me and winked.
She puts a plate of food in front of me and kisses my cheek.
"Eat up."

I scarfed my food down, tasting it's delicious flavors.

"Thanks, darlin'."
"You're welcome. Now get to work and win the case!"
"I'm trying. The judge has been so biased towards him."
"I don't understand why it's your brother."
"He's been up shit crick too many times. I'll see you later babe."
I give her a quick peck and kiss her cheek.
"I love you."
"I love you too."

I open the door and get into the car.
My wife waves good-bye as I pull out of the driveway.
I then head over to the courthouse.
