Sentinels: The Pinnacle Academy Freshmen Class

 [THE PINNACLE]

Children born after the year 2000 began exhibited direct signs of what is known as the Pinnacle.  Pinnacle is being called the direct result of a genetics boom at the end of the 1999.  A new version of the human race has emerged and if not trained those who are gifted are prone to death either due to a lack of self control or The Sentinel Program.  

[PINNACLE ACADEMY]

The gifted are encouraged to enroll in one of the fifty free Pinnacle institutions nationwide.  Each state has one school and each campus houses up to 1,000 students each semester.  Students new to the school are pushed physically and mentally their first four years to unlock their potential.  Some students, at this point, are forced to abandon this road for undergrad courses while others take their chances on the streets.  If a student manages to survive their first four years they spend the last two years honing their unique talents. Only the best of the upper-class men are selected to become Sentinels.

[THE SENTINEL PROGRAM]

 The Sentinel Program was design to take those who are born with the aptitude to become heroes and take it one step further.  Sentinels are even being used to replace branches of the law enforcement such as SWAT.  In other countries Sentinels can be found in every part of the justice system.  To reach Sentinel status is the highest honor for those who attend Pinnacle Academy.  There is a saying amongst the graduating classes, "Either become one or face one."   However...

[Rogues, Rebels & Vagrants]

Not as powerful as the Sentinels, these three groups take in outcasts and strays that were to weak or fed up with the bureaucracy within the Academic structure.  The Rogues [headed by a woman] usually finds themselves at odds with the Rebels [headed by a former instructor of one of the fifty Pinnacles schools].  The Vagrants are rarely seen within the city limits and clash directly with the chief of the S.L.E [Sentinel Law Enforcement].
