It had been a little over a moon since Tivona lost her mother and joined the Northern pack of wolves. She recently became Ivili's apprentice and has been learning of the other side and life beyond the one she wakes up to. Since she stepped paw in the pack she learned many things about her surroundings.

"There is a South pack, as well as a East and West pack. The fight for survival is vigorous and every wolf and pack strives for adequate living conditions. The lack of food during the Ice moons causes some packs to take possession of food from others, resulting in confrontations and combat. At some point one pack will feel threatened or vulnerable by another, even stepping so low as to seek out help from another pack to unite against one another.
The other packs are the minimal of the problems out here, rogues circle the forest, killing pups, seeking revenge on an old Alpha and even bringing the destruction of ones pack.
Wolves can additionally die a painful, bloody, death on the Passing, Passings are everywhere and crossing one can be suicidal."
Ivili was about to continue until Tivona blurted out "I'm sick of this! Why so depressing all the time?"
Ivili grumbled and glanced down at her "Every pup has to learn the dangers of the world around them, it's important"
"Important my tail" Tivona complained "I want to do something fun, like explore or learn about the fancy pond, or maybe hunt?"
"Fun later, learn now" Ivili shut her eyes and let out a deep breath. Ivili opened her eyes and was about to continue her lecture until she realized Tivona was gone. Tivona wasn't a young puppy anymore but she definitely hadn't matured. She has gotten quite big since first got here, and Ivili was finding it troublesome and problematic to control her.

The grass beneath Tivona's paws was warm and pleasing to step on from the mix of the morning sun and dew. As she ran she felt the wind in her fur. She breathed in every scent she could find. The grass, the warm air, the morning dew, the fur?! As she opened her eyes she crashed into Lurra. Lurra was close the same age as Tivona. She had blue eyes that glowed and made Tivona think of the pond in Ivili's cavern, she had light grey fur with perfect combination of a white chin and underbelly, came with it was a little pink nose.
"Oh I'm really sorry Lurra" Tivona looked down at her paws with embarrassment. Something about Lurra gave Tivona a pleasing tingling feeling in her belly.
"It's ok" Lurra spoke in a soft voice "What are you running from?" She ask quietly.
"I'm running from Ivili and her long lectures" Tivona mumbled at the thought of being grounded in that cave for too much longer.
Lurra chuckled a bit "Well I'm going hunting with Tinge and Riv. I could use some help with my stalking skills, I should get going. I'll see you later."
"I-it was nice crashing into you!" Tivona instantly regretted her choice of words, why would she say something so stupid?!
