A.N/ Heyyyyy! ;D So, this is my second chapter to Finding Rose. Now, I know many of you hate mix-ups between past and present tense. I know I’ve many of those errors in this story. I will fix it all up tomorrow, but can someone tell me whether they prefer past or present tense? Thanks! (I like both so I can never decide...) Again, 5 reads for next chapter to be written! Also, I will not be able to upload at all next week;I am going to go to Washington D.C for a field trip and apparently, no laptops are allowed! Stupid rule...>:( There is a good chance that I will not be able to upload this week either, with tests every day and all that...Anyways, hope you enjoy!

You know that feeling when you feel as though you are dreaming, but in reality you’re not? That fuzzy, cloudy sensation was what I felt when I awoke from my deep slumber. I groaned and rubbed the sleep away from my eyes. I was lying in the forest; the tall green trees surrounding me. Confused, I sat up and saw a teenage boy sleeping. His head was cocked to the side, and his mouth was pulled into an ‘o’ shape. He had dark brown ‘bed head’ hair, and I couldn’t help but wonder how soft it would be. And my god, his body! It looked like it was sculpted by hand from the Greek gods. He was shirtless so I could see his tanned, muscled chest. His abs rippled with every breath, and I felt desire rush through my veins.
Are you stupid? Lusting after a boy; no cross that, a man you’ve never met?
He moaned, and turned to the side. That was when I noticed that his legs were entwined to mine. Slowly and carefully, I moved out of his grasp. I gasped in surprise when his arms reached around my waist, pulling me close to him. My heart beat was going so fast that I wouldn’t be surprised if it was on steroids. But for some reason, I didn’t feel scared. Instead, I felt protected...weird since I had no idea where I was and why I was lying on the forest ground with a stranger. I turned my head to see green eyes and a lazy smile. Green...a striking emerald color...it all came to me then. The lake, the wolves, the drowning, everything. And those same pair of green eyes, swimming towards me before I lost consciousness. I tried to jump out of his grasp, but his arms and legs were preventing me from doing so.
“I just found you. I’m not letting you go yet. Stay with me, please. Just for a little while.” The man spoke. His voice was husky, deep, and extremely sexy. I shivered; not from the cold, but from being so close to him. Everything felt...complete. So I nodded and relaxed into his comforting arms.
Okay, so I may have been the stupidest in the family, but I was definitely not retarded. With a swift kick to his unsuspecting leg, I stumbled out of his grasp and freed myself from his arms. I ran. My family must be so anxious...after all, it could have been days that I was out cold. Then again, it could have also been only a few minutes...but the water from the lake had dried, so I knew that I was in the forest for at least an hour. My feet pounded on the dirt as I gasped for breath. I heard running from behind me and knew that the stranger was catching up to me. Adrenaline flooded through my veins and I burst out of the forest, and straight into a highway.
Cars were swerving around me, trying to avoid the stupid girl in the middle of the street. In my confusion I stumbled and fell to my knees just as a truck drove toward my direction. The horn blared and I lost my hearing. The headlights flashed and I lost my sight. I was completely helpless as I felt the vibrations shaking the road.
Suddenly I felt claws on my shirt and a mouth full of teeth grab my throat. It dragged me away, and I screamed from the pain of the teeth sinking into my neck. The creature abruptly let go and whimpered. I felt a thick liquid run down my neck, and I knew it was blood. The creature licked my wound, and I soon felt much better. I knew that there was no such animal that had healing abilities, but I didn’t question it. If it fixed my neck, I was happy. After what seemed like hours of the wolf nuzzling my neck, I started to regain my two senses. My vision was blurry, and I could faintly start to hear sirens. And then the ‘regaining’ stopped. Some part of my mind told me that I would never be able to see or hear properly again.
A dark figure was pacing around in front of me, and I could barely make out its growls. It hunched over me and began to sniff. I stiffened and stayed quiet. Deciding to follow the survival handbook, I played dead. The thing didn’t leave.
Where are the police when I need them the most! Why on earth are they checking the damaged cars when there is a creature towering over a girl! Hello? Helllloooo? I screamed to the police in my head, hoping that some invisible force would bring them to me. Of course, that was not the case. The creature lay on me. It was furry and smelled like forest and...vanilla?
It whimpered and panted in my face, then proceeded to lick my mouth. Oh god, that is nasty. I shuddered and the creature bit my face. Screaming in pain, I leaped up but the thing held me down. All at once, I could see, and I could hear. In front of me was the same brown wolf that had attacked me, chasing me into the water. I gazed into its eyes, mesmerized. Specks of gold dotted the emerald pearls, and a fringe of blue surrounded the edge of the eyes. God, it was sexy. The eyes, the eyes! Not the wolf...I would be classified as a lunatic if I were to ever think of a wolf as sexy. Anyways, the eyes were so...humaine. They didn’t look like they belonged on a wolf. Then I began to question why my two senses had miraculously returned to me. The bite before the miracle could have triggered it, but I doubted it. There was no scientific explanation to that kind of nonsense. My body must have realised that I was in danger and decided to quickly fix up my eyes and ears. The wolf smiled, and for some strange reason, I decided to name it. It looked friendly and cute, and my mind was too confused to even care about what I was doing.
“So, buddy, you are boy or a girl?” The wolf wagged its tail, panting. I looked under his belly and came up blushing.
“So...y-you’re a boy then...” I stammered, and blushed even more. God, it was just a wolf’s groin! Nothing to be so embarrassed about! But the image of his...uh...erection just didn’t seem to escape my head. I didn’t know wolves could be so big. Anyways!
“I’ll call you...Moonlight! No, that’s a girl name...how about...Silver! Nah...hm...” I pondered, and the wolf cocked his adorable, enormous head to the side.
“Got it!” I smiled, “I’ll name you Ash! You know, like the Ash tree?” Great, I should be in the loony bin. Talking to stranger animals...I mean, what if this thing has rabies!? But he seemed to like it (the name, not the rabies), and licked my face. I giggled, and held his furry face in my hand. I kissed his nose, feeling unnaturally giddy and happy. I finally caught sight of the police with disgusted looks on their faces. What can I say? Haters gonna hate.
